INTRODUCTIONThis report ascertains the various aspects of the case study. It explains the professionalconversation and literature review. In the professional conversation it has been explained thathow child abuse impacts the mental health aspects of children. It also impacts the physical healthconditions of children. Case study also shows that how mental physical abuse can bring a personinto depression. It impacts their social as well as personal and professional life. The literaturereview determines all the issues and difficulties faced by divorced mother including Joan and italso explains that how these challenges and problems impact the mental health of the divorcemothers and their children. The literature review also ascertains the role of child neglect in thesociety and how this issue impacts the children as well as the society. Professional ConversationDeconstruct:-In this study it is specified that Joan has had a history of violent relationship withher husband which means Joan has experienced a lot of difficulties. She has been divorced andalso the relationship which she was in was emotionally abusive . Being the children Jessica andRyan always had hopes that their mother will behave sensitively with them but she was engagein consuming alcohol and the habit was increasing day by day as it was getting difficult for Joanto cope up with her decision of separation. The stress that Joan has experienced in her violentrelationship, was still making her depressed because of which she even forgot to provide basiccare to her children. However, the children were also facing various difficulties in their life as itwas becoming difficult for Jessica to act as a companion for Joan because of her young age.Jessica was finding it difficult to wake up early in the morning and get herself and her brotherready for the school because of which they start taking leaves from the schools. It is oftennoticed that the children who have alcoholic parents have symptoms of higher level of anxiety,stress and depression(Ganong and et.al., 2015). Even Jessica also had a constant fear that if herfather will come back he will again try to hurt her mother. Since Jessica and Ryan were facingvarious challenges in their lives therefore it was becoming very difficult for them to concentrateon their studies and attend the school regularly.Confront:-Even Joan might choose various other options to properly deal with her problemsinstead of consuming too much alcohol. She could might handle her problems maturely so thather children do not have to face so many difficulties as they had faced. Being the only parent ofJessica and Ryan she should support them and should be responsible towards them. Joan should
