INTRODUCTION
In modern scenario, it has been found that various new tools and technologies are taking
place of old ones in a rapid manner. Hence, it is mandatory for management of organisations to
keep on adapting changes from time to time maintain the sustainability at marketplace. This
activity continuously aid company to grow and also helps in improvising both productivity and
profitability. By looking at past it can be understood that doing business in an appropriate
manner has become more complicated because of rapid increase in competition. In today's world,
digital tools, techniques and technologies has given many opportunities to firms like, storing data
safely and securely for a long period of time (Crane and Matten, 2016). Apart from this, it also
aid in analysing current and previous situations. Managers and leaders can take many sort of
decisions by looking at these analysis that has been done new technology. In this report,
Victorinox which is a famous small business enterprise that is delivering services and products to
consumers like watches and etc which been taken. Also, assignment includes contrary number of
research methods for finding out different sort of conclusion and recommendations so that
organisation can hit targets.

In today's world, it has been found that consumers requirements and needs gets changes
from time to time. Thus, management keeps on analysing the alterations and adapt them if
needed to improvise quality of goods and services. Continuous development of tools, techniques
and technologies improvise traditional segments that organisations are following from a long
time. Management adapts digitalisation to reduce workload from manpower. Away from this,
new technology also helps in gaining proper brand image and goodwill. Organisation's can
collect data and keep them in different storage devices like hard disks and etc. But, in modern era
management uses cloud storage which helps in carrying data and away from this is also cost
efficient (Pinto, 2015). Away from this, digitalisation also uses in doing different sort of
promotions of goods. Like, organisation can use various social media's like YouTube, Facebook
and etc. apart from this, technology also helped organisation in making communication easier in
between employees and it also gives opportunities to customers to grab the details of services.
For an example: online stores can help consumers in getting knowledge of products while sitting

at home. Mostly, digitalisation improvises all activities which are related operations and these
alterations which has been adapted by company are for betterment only (Schaltegger and Wagner
eds., 2017).

Background of project:
In new era, technology takes place of old ones. Thus, it is mandatory for organisations to
adapt those changes right on time so that better opportunities can be grabbed. With the help of
this, companies can hit their targets in a short period of time. Also, it can aid in gaining
advantages at competitive world by which rivalry can be given to competitors. Every single time
if an organisation makes changes they implement them for positive aspects. But, it is not
necessary that decision that has been made by management while making modifications bring
positive change only it can also carry negative impacts as well(Pekuri and et. al., 2014). Cloud
storage can be stated as most of organisations are using to store data that do not need any hard
disk. Data stays stored online safe and secured. This data which is stored it can be utilised for a
long period of time like manager can use data while analysing past and present situations. This
may help them in making effective decision.
Aims: Analysing the impact of digital technologies in order to transform business operations

It is mandatory for organisations to make a project plan by which targets can be hit in a
short period of time (Peters, Blohm and Leimeister, 2015). A plan helps in various ways like
pulling out costs of various activities to attain goals and objects, it also aid in setting time frame
for every single action. Mainly, firms forms these kind of plan to grab or gain advantages in

competitive world, gives opportunities like long term benefits and etc. Basically, Manager is the
one who makes these project management plan (Storey, Basterretxea and Salaman, G., 2014).
These programs gives opportunities to them find out many things like costs, quality, resources
and risks that management can face at time of hitting targets. Victorinox is looking for
approaches by which it can enhance profitability and also expand its business at both domestic
and international level. To achieve this desired objective manager can use various new tools,
techniques and technologies. Before coming to any sort of decisions which is in regards to
finalise the project there are some elements that needs to look forward by management and these
are as follows: Scope of project: It has been examined that consumers tastes gets changes from time to
time. Away from this, technology is also rapidly altering in a rapid manner. Thus,
management of firm needs to look at these modifications that company is facing at
marketplace and take proper decisions right on time. Selling products through online
become much easier for companies like Victorinox to reach to consumers. Management of risk: Every change brings risk with it in organisation. Thus, it is
mandatory for management to look into these risks so that it do not harm much to
company. Victorinox may face so many problems while expanding its business at
international level. So, manager should resolve these issues right on time so that firm can
attain targets. Quality control: Sustainability becomes important for organisation in today's world.
Management can improvise and become a leading one. Victorinox deliver quality
products to consumer thus, it is essential for them to keep on improvising standards of
their goods so that consumers do not looses trust from them. Continuous implementation
of this process will directly enhance profitability of the company (Drucker, 2017). Cost: This king of projects cost much to organisation thus, it is mandatory for companies
to have ample number of investors so that no issues can come across in terms of funds in
executing plan. Victorinox faces problems in influencing investors from time to time as
it is a small business enterprise. Time: Management needs to finish all the project related activities right on time. Delay
in this may cost them huge if tasks do not get hit in given time frame. It is mandatory for
Victorinox to make its employees capable to complete the given responsibilities in time

this may help them in improvising both productivity and profitability of them (Larson
and Chang, 2016).
 Communication: This can be stated as one of the main element because if
communication in between employer and employee or transferring of information is
proper than possibilities are there that set objective can get attain in an efficient and
effective manner.
All of the above mentioned factors may easily help a manager in making or forming a
project management plan. Complete and proper execution of a plan can hit targets or objectives
in a short period of time. Supervisor of Victorinox can achieve goals by looking out risks, saving
cost, improving quality and etc in a project management plan (Torry, 2017).

It is vital for management to doing proper research in regards to set objective. This helps
manager to pull out data related to goal that has been set by supervisors. Data which has got
collected by doing research may aid in making effective decisions in context of organisation. An
action plan that has been formed by management gives directions to employees and even to
employer by which they can hit targets right on time. These plans removes wastage of resources
and also reduces costs while executing various activities (Ali and Shukran, 2016). While forming
a research it carries various steps and these are mentioned beneath:

their products through online (Wang and et. al., 2017). Thus, it is essential for them to look into
every aspect by which they can come to a solution. These solutions will give them proper
knowledge to executives that if doing online business is good or bad for them. For doing this,

researcher can pick up respondent from ample number of targeted people. It is important for
investigator to make these respondent feel good that the information that they are giving will stay
secure. Company will use random sampling method in which 20 respondent are going to get
selected in context of research. Collected information can easily help Victorinox in making
better decisions in regards to expand business in online sector (Upward and Jones, 2016).
It has been found that a researcher fixes time of every single activity which is related to
investigation this helps them in taking effective decisions right on time. These decisions which
has been taken by management may aid making favourable conditions for Victorinox. Data
which has been collected by some primary resources will help in formulating questionnaire. This
questionnaire have 10 questions. Apart from this, 20 respondent are being chosen who will
answer all the questions as per their perceptions. It has been located that technology changes at
marketplace in rapid manner. Thus, it becomes more difficult for management while adapting
digitalisation as it needs proper research and under this report all the data needs to be properly
mentioned in a detailed manner (Pearlson, Saunders and Galletta, 2016). Action plan which has
been formed by investigator can easily understood by below given figures.

uses both of these methods in different manner. It depends upon researcher that which method is
more useful on various perspectives (Kim and Min, 2015). Away from this, there are other

business at domestic level only. It has been examined that if company wants to hit its desired
targets than proper implementation of a plan is mandatory in nature. In present scenario,
organisation has already gained a good image in front of its consumer. Thus, it is not essential
for them to make any sort of alteration. But, as customers moods and taste gets changes in a
rapid manner it is important for Victorinox to adapt those changes in technologies so that quality
of products and can be utilised in order to satisfy its users. Cloud storage can used in many
context. Like, storing data, securing and etc. Motive of companies while adapting this type of
technology is to keep data safe from hacker.

P7 Reflection on the value of undertaking research to meet objectives
It has been examined that whenever researcher conducts an investigation he/she faces so
many problems or issues. Proper analysis needs formed in a proper manner so that complications
can be resolved right on time. Failure, in this may lead organisation to create losses for it and
also it can also decrease goodwill and brand image at marketplace. While doing this research
there were ample number of problems that has been made by me. These issues made me
confused while making decisions. Away from this, I was also not been able to finish the research
right on time. I faced some other issues as well like increase in cost, allocating resources and etc.
Investigation of taking time that's why I took only 20 respondents in my research report that did
not aid me in finding out resolutions which I was expecting. Away from this, I already planned
every single thing which was related to investigation but some how I was not able to resolve
issues right on instance that wasted both money and time. But, in the end I managed all activities
that helped me in finishing the research report. While creating this report, many social sites
helped me out in various situations where I had confusions. Lastly, I finished this project by
using all resources and funds in an appropriate manner so that better results can be gained right
on time.

CONCLUSION
From the above comprehended research report, it has been concluded that investigators
can easily hit targets of an organisation by doing proper analyses of marketplace. Various tools,
approaches, techniques and technologies can be used by researcher in pulling out proper and best
results of investigation that he/she have done. Investigator uses different internal and external
resources in collecting detailed data so that target can get hit in effective and efficient manner.
