Rationale
The site plan which was produced is a scaled drawing which shows the structures and the uses
which are proposed for the given site. The site plan generated includes the information
concerning the landscape features of that given site. The site plan produced intends to show the
intended land use which relates to the features of the site and all the neighborhood. The
administrator in charge of zoning will be able to review the site plan to assure that the
proposed office block meets the standards of the zoning code for the district where it is
located in1. The zoning administrator will also verify that the development will be sufficiently
severed with the necessary public facility such as water, electricity, emergency services, and the
sewage line. The site plan generated will review the process will be designed in a way to protect
the landowners and it is in their best interest to comply with the procedures.
The floor plan generated gives one a bird's eye view of the office block to be constructed. The
plan is a scaled diagram of the rooms of the office building. The floor plan produce presents the
relationship between the furniture, the room, spaces and at the same time shows the
measurements for the long things.
The floor plans generated were able to turn the ideas before the design into visuals which can be
easily interpreted and understood by other, and with that, it was possible for the adjustments to

The schedule of work was prepared to ensure that the construction of the office block will be
completed within the given timeframe and within the stipulated budget. The schedule of work
greatly helps to outline the pace at which the project will be carried out. The schedule of work
will greatly aid in defining the methods and the sequence in which the materials are going to be
put in place. When preparing the schedule of work for the construction of the office block, the
overall scope of work was taken into consideration as well as the connections between the
different components to developed a construction schedule which will work effetely for all the
members of the project team.
The outline of the bill of quantities which was prepared will help the tenders in the computation

During the project planning, BIM will be used to break down the project into phases and then
plan on how the stages will be implemented. The project phases will be further broken down into
manageable components which will ensure easy design and construction of the project. The
project will be broken down into the implementation stages i.e. the planning, designing,
construction, operation, and maintenance. Also, those stages of project implementation will also
be broken down for easy planning and implementation
During planning, BIM will be used to carry out site analysis whereby the site will be analyzed
before the design and construction of the project. BIM will be used in the analysis of the site
topography by the surveyor, also during site analysts, different elements will be analyzed for
instance the climate of the area will be analyzed and conclusions will be made on how it affects
the implementation and operations of the project. The human activities carried out within the
proposed project site and the neighborhood will also be analyzed with the use of BIM2.
During project planning, BIM will also be used in the preparation of the project program on how
the project will run from, the design stage to maintenance. The breakdown of the project which
was done initially will also be used in the preparation of the program.
BIM plays a very crucial role during the designing stage of the project since it will be used in
authoring of all professionals who will be involved in the project design. The authoring of the
