INTRODUCTION
To have sustainable tourism, is the need of today's world. With the rise in time, people
are preferring more to travel at different places which make necessary for the country to develop
its various tourist attraction site. Developed and sustainable tourism will help the country to
attract more tourists. Sustainable tourism development means having continuous or stable
development of tourist sector in the country (Lee, 2013). Philippines tourism development works
in the direction of making safe and clean environment in the country to attract more and more
tourists. This report covers the importance of stakeholders in the planning process of
organisation. There are many advantages and disadvantages of private and public tourism sector
who are planning for partnership. Tourism development needs planning at different levels. There
are interactive systems and processes in development of tourism. Different methods are used to
resolve the conflicts in these sectors and balance between demand and supply of tourists are
made by the Philippines tourism development.

P 1.1- Benefits of stakeholders in planning process of the organisation.
Stakeholders hold very important place in the organisation and their suggestions are also
very important to be worked on because they are the one who are directly or indirectly affected
by the workings of company (Erkuş-Öztürk and Eraydın, 2010). Employees, managers,
customers or tourist etc. are the stakeholder of company. So, stakeholders should get some
benefits from the firm in order to meet their various needs. Philippines tourism development
gives their stakeholders many benefits which are: Opportunities to employees- Employees are the persons who are directly related to the
workings of the company. Involving them in the planning process of organisation will
give them motivation to work harder which will increase their efficiency and will open

public and private partners to co-ordinate with each other and perform better for the
development team (Ruhanen, 2013). This will lead to decrease in conflicts and will
increase the efficiency of work. Participation of stakeholders- Organisational planning will involve the participation of
stakeholder which will help the company to know about their various stakeholders and
their suggestions. Planning will also help to know the different perceptions of them. Protection of tourists- Tourists or consumer will feel safe and secure by the planning
process. Planning will include measures to keep tourists safe because there are wild
animals who are dangerous for them (Matarrita-Cascante, Brennan and Luloff, 2010).
Safety of the tourists or customer is most important for Philippines.
 Infrastructure- Planning in Philippines tourism development will lead to develop the
infrastructure of the place which will attract more tourists to visit Philippines.
Nevertheless, it is a must for any destination to maintain proper infrastructure facilities
to attract tourist to the area. Without the basic infrastructure facilities no touristic activity
can take place. Therefore, in order to promote a destination first of all there should be
proper infrastructure facilities.

There will be many advantages and disadvantages associated with the planning of
partnership between them. In Philippines there is need to protect the environment very much and

sector is managed by government and private tourism sector is managed by some individuals or

private firm. Partnership between them will lead to many advantages as well as disadvantages in

Advantages of partnership are:
 Resource allocation- Partnership between private and public tourism sector of Philippines
will lead to effective allocation of all resources needed by these sectors which will also
save the scarce resources of the place.
 Improved infrastructure- Private and public partnership will include different
infrastructure of sectors and their link up will lead to improved infrastructure of both the
sectors because these both sectors will have different resources in terms of natural,
cultural, heritage and human (Reihanian, Kahrom and Hin, 2012).
Disadvantages of partnership: Conflicts- Partnership between private and public sector can lead to some conflicts or
disputes between them which will affect the tourist industry of the Philippines. Difficulty in managing- Merger of these tourist sectors will face some difficulty to
manage the tourism development because they both will have various and different
objectives to achieve. Lack of motivation- Public and private tourist sector partnership will decrease or will lead
to lack of motivation between their employees because at this time managers does not
have time to fulfil the needs of their employees (Lee, 2013).
 Work load- Employees work load will be increased by the merger of public and private
tourist sector.

development in many ways. Planning is important for sustainable and better development. Many
level need the effective planning.
 Environmental level- Planning at environmental level will help the tourist development
of Philippines to make safe, secure and friendly environment for the visitors of that place.
 Economic level- Revenue and economy of Philippines will be increased with the
effective planning in the development.

 Social level- Social responsibilities of the cited development team will be effectively
fulfilled by the proper planning process (Erkuş-Öztürk and Eraydın, 2010).
 National level- Proper planning in the Philippines tourism development will increase
their national beauty which will attract more and more tourists.
 International level- More foreign tourists will be attracted to Philippines and international
level of the place will be increased by the effective planning and implementation of that

 Regional level- Effective planning of the cited tourism development team will help to
increase their regional level or will help in increasing the attractiveness and reputation of
their region.
 Local level- Attractiveness of locality of level where the development group had worked
will be increased (Niedziółka, 2014). Positivity of local level will also increase by living
in such safe and clean environment.

There are different types of interactive planning systems and processes which have some
significance in tourism developments. Work of Philippines tourism developments will become
easy by these interactive system and processes which are as follows:
 Prediction- Planning can be done on the basis of prediction. By predicting that what will
be environmental conditions in the near future with the proper research can help in tourist
developments (Ruhanen, 2013). Prediction can also done on the basis of stakeholder by
which their suggestions will be taken for the further development of tourism.
 Process of participation- It includes the participation of all the members or workers who
are working in the team should be involved or participated in the planning process of
development group which will bring new and innovative suggestions to implement for
further growth. Opinions of local people can also be taken for effective planning of cited
team.
 Stakeholders involvement- Involvement of stakeholder should be taken for implementing

 Cost factor: - Cost factor is very important factor nowadays because cost is the only
factor that affect overall organisation. Sometime cost will affect the business because

change the economic development.
 Safety factor: - Safety factor is very important in tourism sector. Because they are lot
many problems are face customer at the time to travelling (Stylidis and et.al., 2014). So

travelling.
 Innovative factor: - Innovation is idea converted into reality. Many customers are not see
cost factor they can see some innovate in their business. So, customer will attract and use
them. Now a day only innovation is very important to run a successful business because

the negative impact on the bio diversity. This way, it will be effective for both the
countries grow in effective manner.
 Social: Empowering the local groups, employees in the decision making process should
be supported in order to establish a friendly tourism environment in the countries. Gender
equality, prohibition of the child labour, protection to the women is the steps that must be
implemented.
 Economic: The economic prosperity of the Thailand and Philippines is related with the
employment, competency development and earning capabilities. The Government needs
to chalk out a plan to use the foreign currencies effectively in those countries for the
development of the livelihood.
