INTRODUCTIONTo have sustainable tourism, is the need of today's world. With the rise in time, peopleare preferring more to travel at different places which make necessary for the country to developits various tourist attraction site. Developed and sustainable tourism will help the country toattract more tourists. Sustainable tourism development means having continuous or stabledevelopment of tourist sector in the country (Lee, 2013). Philippines tourism development worksin the direction of making safe and clean environment in the country to attract more and moretourists. This report covers the importance of stakeholders in the planning process oforganisation. There are many advantages and disadvantages of private and public tourism sectorwho are planning for partnership. Tourism development needs planning at different levels. Thereare interactive systems and processes in development of tourism. Different methods are used toresolve the conflicts in these sectors and balance between demand and supply of tourists aremade by the Philippines tourism development.TASK 1P 1.1- Benefits of stakeholders in planning process of the organisation.Stakeholders hold very important place in the organisation and their suggestions are alsovery important to be worked on because they are the one who are directly or indirectly affectedby the workings of company (Erkuş-Öztürk and Eraydın, 2010). Employees, managers,customers or tourist etc. are the stakeholder of company. So, stakeholders should get somebenefits from the firm in order to meet their various needs. Philippines tourism developmentgives their stakeholders many benefits which are:Opportunities to employees- Employees are the persons who are directly related to theworkings of the company. Involving them in the planning process of organisation willgive them motivation to work harder which will increase their efficiency and will openvarious opportunities to them. Through planning, measures ofwildlife protection can be taken by involving several stakeholders. From this, supportfrom several stakeholders will attained that aids in gaining positive outcome. Scenery- Beauty of landscape or scenery will increase by planning various improvement.These improved changes will attract more and more tourists and will satisfy them tocome again at that place which have a good landscape.Co-ordination between public and private partners- Planning in the team will help thepublic and private partners to co-ordinate with each other and perform better for thedevelopment team (Ruhanen, 2013). This will lead to decrease in conflicts and willincrease the efficiency of work.Participation of stakeholders- Organisational planning will involve the participation ofstakeholder which will help the company to know about their various stakeholders andtheir suggestions. Planning will also help to know the different perceptions of them.Protection of tourists- Tourists or consumer will feel safe and secure by the planningprocess. Planning will include measures to keep tourists safe because there are wildanimals who are dangerous for them (Matarrita-Cascante, Brennan and Luloff, 2010).Safety of the tourists or customer is most important for Philippines.Infrastructure- Planning in Philippines tourism development will lead to develop theinfrastructure of the place which will attract more tourists to visit Philippines.Nevertheless, it is a must for any destination to maintain proper infrastructure facilitiesto attract tourist to the area. Without the basic infrastructure facilities no touristic activitycan take place.
