In current competitive world, personal and professional development is highly crucial for
developing new skills so that one can attain milestones in career (Deressa, 2018). The present
report is about personal development where various goals related to different time period have
been constructed for growth of individual along with a detailed personal development plan for
future betterment.

Personal and professional development
Personal development signifies a process which is related with increasing own skill and
potential by persistently analyzing own performance in an effective manner. Here, professional
development is a way of developing additional skills & abilities in order to perform well at work
place and get a better employment opportunity in future period of time.
Short term goals and examples
These goals need to be attained within a time period of 3 to 6 months. Short term goals are
constructed for short period of time and play a significant role in inspiring of an individual so
that medium and long term goals can be attain within predefined period of time (Goyal, 2018).
Short term wins bring enthusiasm and further inspire a person to put more efforts for future
