than doing only one and specific work and try to achieve everything in that field. Some
employees are not that productive for business so that hiring new candidate helps to gain
development of business.
Appropriate research methods and conduct primary and secondary research
It is an important section that provide assistance to investigator to undertake research in an
effective manner. Mainly, it includes framework in which researcher collect authentic data and
information that used to draw a valid conclusion within the study. In this context, there are some
techniques and methods that can be applied by research are as follows:
Research philosophy
It is essentially defined as collection of attitudes and expectations concerning the
presence of fact under inquiry in study field, this is the most important aspect of research
methodology.
Positivism philosophy- This adheres to a point of view which is mostly based on
genuine experience obtained via trustworthy observation and analysis.
Interpretivism philosophy- The philosophical approach to thinking social truth
is emphasis of research philosophy, which is a framework and activity of the social science
investigation.
Justification- The positivism research philosophy has been used to perform the current
inquiry. The rationale for employing this philosophy is because positivism is excellent in doing
quantitative analysis as well as the study under consideration is focused on quantitative elements
of impact of different talent management strategies in organisational success.
Research Approaches
The term "research approach" is related to strategy or procedure that involves phases
ranging from general findings to detailed instruments for obtaining, assessing or interpreting
data.
4

Inductive approach- This is mostly interpretive with assumptions applied throughout the
direction of an investigation's conclusion as consequence of observation.
Deductive approach- This is the one which most people think of when they think of
empirical science. Developing hypothesis based on existing knowledge, followed by research
approach to test the hypothesis.
Justification- For undertaking current investigation deductive research approach will be
considered because this is helpful in showing relational interconnection among ideas as well
as variables which are relayed so over factor.
Choice of data
There are two type of investigation such as qualitative and quantitative research.
Qualitative method- It is related to providing the detailed information regarding the
particular subject area.
Quantitative method- This research method is effective in providing the statistical and
mathematical information. It gives the factual understanding about the particular research area.
Justification- In order to undertake current investigation, quantitative method has been
used in which quantify data will have acquired to draw a valid conclusion within the study.
Data collection
Primary and secondary are the two type of method for collecting data.
Primary research- This strategy is mostly used to gather interesting and original
information on certain topic area. It seems to be crucial for gathering first-hand data that really is
specific to a research topic. Different sources are used in the main technique including
questionnaires, interviews, observation etc.
Secondary method- This contains the views and suggestions of several writers in order
to achieve the study objectives. Books, journals, online sources and other sources are among the
various sources used to get knowledge.
Justification- For this, both methods will be applied by researcher (Glaister and et. Al.,
2018). With the help of primary methods questionnaire will be prepared and secondary method
assist in undertaking literature review.
Sampling
5

It is procedure of selecting right sample size from larger number of population in order to
gathering authentic data. It includes two types of techniques such as probabilistic and non-
probabilistic sampling method.
Justification- For select sample size researcher will applied probabilistic method in
which respondents are selected as per random basis as they get equal chances to be selected. By
using this, 50 respondents will be selected who are the employees of company.
Chapter 2
Conduct primary and secondary research using appropriate methods
In this, present investigation, information has been collected by using the primary and
secondary both method of data collection (Clarke and Visser, 2019). To collect the information,
researcher needs the cost, access to collect information from authentic sources and also follow all
the ethical considerations while conducting an investigation.
Cost- This is among most important aspects of research. Cost is required to conduct a
research in a more effective way. The investigator is responsible of raising funds so research
activities can be carried out efficiently (Friginal, Mathews and Roberts, 2019).
Access- A researcher must be able to have clear access to accurate sources of knowledge
and data. The data collection source should be accurate and credible in order to gather the correct
information for chosen area while also achieving positive study results (Lê and et. al., 2019).
Ethical considerations- It is important for the researcher to conduct the current study
correctly. To do research ethically, the researcher would make sure that all information is
handled from trustworthy sources only. When gathering data from the primary sources, the
researcher will first obtain each participant's consent and remind them of when and how their
data will be used. When collecting information from reliable source, the researcher should ensure
the overall data is gathered from primary data and that additional knowledge is prioritized. This
will directly lead to the timely and correct collection of overall test data (Novikov and Novikov,
2019). The researcher and other stakeholders may be sure that all ethical guidelines were met
while conducting this analysis by double-checking the findings.
