1. Myself
a. Achievement - My medium score has shown that I am good at achieving life and work
balances.
Desire for Autonomy - My medium score has demonstrated that I am determined,
interdependent, and individualistic as an entrepreneur.
Creativity - My medium score has stated that I am somewhat creative but have less potential
to have disruptive and radical ideas.
Risk Taking - My medium score has implied that I am decisive and have the capability to
determine whether my actions and decisions will be successful or not.
Locus of Control - My medium score has shown that I am determined, self-confident, pro-
active, and somewhat opportunistic as an entrepreneur.
b. Education - Education has positively influenced me as the growth of the business takes place
due to academic qualifications.
Peers and Family - The peers and the family has positively influenced as social as well as
family status helps in attracting the cultural resources and accessing the business.
Experience - The experience in workplace has both positively and negatively influenced me
to be an entrepreneur depending on the work environment.
2. Personality
a. I got 67% in my overall Get2 survey shows that I have strengths in some of the enterprising
traits. I might be satisfied to work on limited number of projects and become enterprising
either through voluntary projects or as an intrapreneur.
b. Yes, I have recognized some of these behaviors in myself. These behaviors will help me
become an excellent entrepreneur in the future.
3. My Skills and Experience
I am a Herder as I always focus on the tasks on budget and schedule. I could do everything
for making the project successful with the help of my time-management and resource skills
and also the skills to lead a team.

(B) Second Personal Journal Entry Set
1. Elon Musk
The analysis of Elon Musk on the basis of Kurakto’s Entrepreneurial Behavior Model is as
follows:
Personal Characteristics - His compulsiveness and passion for work has made him a great
leader.
Family Background - He was born and brought up in Pretoria in Transvaal in South Africa.
He belongs to an affluent family, but he was severely bullied on his childhood.
Education - He has an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of
Pennsylvania (del Real, 2018).
Experiences and Skills - Goal-oriented, future-focused, leadership, creativity, time-
management, and long-term thinking are the skills of Elon Musk. He has experience in online
banking, production of electric cars, and launching of advanced rockets.
Ventures - He is the co-founder and CEO of PayPal, Neuralink, Tesla Motors, SolarCity,
and SpaceX (Ferreira, Ratten & Dana, 2017).
Business and Economic Climate while launching the Ventures - PayPal was launched
during the booming period of the internet. Neuralink was the first neuro-technology company
in the USA. Tesla Motors was launched when there were no electric cars in USA, SolarCity
was the primary provider of solar energy services in USA, and SpaceX was the first
manufacturer of space crafts in USA.
Management Style - Elon Musk follows the micromanagement style of management.
Vision - His vision is that anybody could move to the Mars and gas cars would be like steam
engines.
Outlook - He believes that hard work is necessary to fight against the high possibility of
failure.
Motivation - The thing that motivates him is that he wants to be capable to think about the
future and feel good for that (Williamson, 2016).
Philosophy - The philosophy of Elon Musk for businesses is the philosophy of innovation.
This led to creation of electric cars run through solar energy.
