INTRODUCTION
Civil engineering is a type of branch that provide the facilities and service of development
while designing the construction project for maintaining the environment through infrastructure
development. It mainly including the construction process whereas various activities that are
undertaken into account. In order to design an efficient infrastructure, layout of roadways

P1 Discuss about the earthwork activities, technique and equipment’s.
In this civil engineering project, it will be used various type of activities, technique and
equipment applicable. It provide the better facilities to conduct the activities in construction
project. In order to analyse that how earthwork activities perform on the basis of processing.
Sometimes, it mainly involves use the large amount of rocks and soil (France-Mensah and
O’Brien, 2019). The process of earthwork in civil project which considered an appropriate land
for purpose of evacuate in order to start the procedure. It should be involved the directive
planning that will be differentiating the criteria and also consider an essential movement into
segment. In this way, it become easier to manage the entire work implication.
Apart from that it can be identified the tasks of earthwork which will require for carrying
the excavation and earthmoving. It must ensure that use of material in the development activities.
This type of excavation process is mainly focused on the equipment which always support for
maintaining process in proper manner. There are different type of tools and equipment used such
as:
 Bulldozer: It is used for pushing the soil which carried out by maintaining and tracking of

As per given scenario, it will require the specific method or technique for purpose of
piling, drainage. It is part of construction project of roadways that would easily maintain the
process in proper manner (Kermanshachi and et.al., 2020). There are some important steps that
are supporting to develop foundation in following ways:
 Investigating about the soil, rock whereas it help for purpose of foundations.
 It is locating the areas where foundation on the soil so that it is successfully complete
process.
 Organising the excavation process which help for increasing the processes.
 Installing the process which automatically carried out the concrete and afterwards, it can
