INTRODUCTION Organisations which are having less financial needs and which are having number of employees less than 50 can be stated as a small business enterprises (Blackburn, Hart and Wainwright, 2013). It is a suitable option for a business entities which are having a plan to start their own business can use this. This business model is having less need of the financial investment and efforts of the human resources by which they can get more better profits. The present report is based on the Posh Nosh Limited which a small scale enterprise working in the UK, they are working in the restaurant business so it is essential for them to manage their employees as per the needs of the customers. This report is having focus on the performance of the business of the company to analyse the weakness of business activities. After it some recommendations has to be adopt to the Posh Nosh Limited in their business activities which are given in the report. SMART objectives can be helpful for the company to make effective decisions on the different aspects of the company. So they have to adopt these changes to improve their business activities and as well as their revues. TASK 1 1.1 Strength and weakness of the business Posh Nosh is a food restaurant working in the UK and they are having their focus to deliver better products and services. It is a newly started business in the UK and they are having limited number of store in the UK. As they are working in the retail food restaurant so they are having a focus to provide proper customers assistance. They are having single proprietor ship on this business and they are having managers on different level of management which helps to company to deliver better services in the account of customers (Battisti and Perry, 2011). They are providing foods and drinks in to their targeted market. As they are working in the food sector so they are having an objective to provide better products and services as per the customers needs and make profits by them. They are having flat management structure to organise business activities. They are having target on the those people which are having an interest in to the foods. But most of the customers are having a specific demand in the taste of the dishes in which some times they can not provide better work according to the customers.
As the Posh Nosh Limited is working in the restaurant business so it is essential for them to manage their business activities as per the needs of the customers. So they have to make a proper analysis of the strength and weakness which are given under here: STRENGTH ļ·They are having experts chef which are enough capable to provide test to customers as they wants in the dishes. ļ·They are having good brand image in the market which can support to them to increase their number of customers and as well as their business revenues. WEAKNESS ļ·Limitednumber of employeescreatesaproblemto managecustomerswhichis hampering on the business revenues. ļ·They are having different departments in the organisation so some time it is not possible for them to make co ordination in between the teams to provide better products and services. 1.2 Comparative analysis of the Business As the Posh Nosh Limited working in the food and restaurant business so they have to make proper ficus on the business so they have to make proper analysis of the sales, production, marketing and human resources by which they can make better services for the customers (Carraher and Paridon, 2015). As they are having different types of business activities so it is essential for them to make an appropriate comparative analysis on the basis of the sales and marketing to improve their business activities. Some of the points are given under below to make a comparative analysis of the Posh Nosh Limited; Sales:They are having an increase of 10% in their sales from the last financial year which provide detail that they are working effectively for the customers and they are providing better services to the customers. Marketing activities:The restaurant is using social media to maker their followers and increase the marketing and promotions of the products and services. As compare to the last year they has increase number of followers by 19% which shows that people are interested in the foods and services of the Posh Nosh.

In the first they have to use an internal software which can help to them to increase the effectiveness on the orders and as well as it can help to them to make a clear communication. Human Resources:As they are facing a issue of lack of employees so they have to recruit new people in the organisation which are capable to provide services in to the company. It can help to them to manage their services and business activities. 2.2 Ways in which company can improve performance As they are working in the retail food business so it is essential for the company to manage their business activities appropriately. So some of the points are here in which they can improve their business:
Customers satisfaction survey:They have to use customer satisfaction survey which can help to them to provide better customers services as per their needs. As they are working in the retail food so they have to provide s products and services as the demands of the customers. Training of employees:As they are having different teams so it is essential for them to provide proper training by which they can give them exact services to their customers. It can help to the company to improve their services. So they have to provide training on the random basis.
2.3Recommend with justification, new areas in which the business could be expanded It is essential for a business organization is that to make new opportunities which can help to provide long term growth to the business. There are various areas which can be used by the company in order to expand their business operations. In the context of Posh Nosh Limited, it is food firm which can provide a long range of food products to their loyal customers. But in the United Kingdom market, there are various small and large business organization which can create a cut through competition situation in the market. It can reducing the marker share and profitability of the company. Therefore, the cited business unit is required to diversify their business in to new areas which can help to maintain its growth and consistency. For this they can go grocery or retail industry which is also good in terms of attractiveness and profitability. They can open their grocery store in the city of London. For this there are two types stores one can be located at the urban store where they can provide large number of goods. The another type of store can be locate in the semi urban area. It can help to maintain the position in the market which can leads to increase revenue and profitability which a common goal for every business unit (Gronum, Verreynne, and Kastelle,2012). TASK 3 3.1 Assessment of business objectives and plans Posh Nosh ltd. is small medium enterprise in UK, which provides excellence in foods and services. They are very famous and their kitchen brigade keeps on working to provide dishes with high quality. They work closely with the local suppliers and make sure that they provide good services to satisfy their customers. It has made several plans and objectives so as to build and maintain reputation in the market (Teece, 2010). The plans of the company is : ļ·Mission : Their aim is to promote the teamwork by appreciating contribution of each and every member. They manages to honour their commitment and deliver it on promises. They tends to be sincere and honest in all their actions. ļ·Vision : The companies vision is to provide great cuisine with outstanding service. Their vision is to get specialised in marquee and event catering and to give advice on all aspects of event whether large or small (Goss, 2015).
