Introduction
Being one of the leading Universities, the ABC University must stream line all their
processes in order to accommodate the different operations that are required by the students,
admin, Academic staff and finally technical maintenance staff. The proposed web-based
system will help the different users such as student to change details of their profiles, share
and receive the article resources, register to take part in the different types of discussion
according to their degree and requirements that will help them in their Program of study
(Strauss 2019). This system provides a convenient, easy as well as efficient way in order to
complete different operation of the different users of the university.
This report contributes to the layered design, Software architecture of the proposed
application and required database design that will store all the data available from the
application. In addition to that, discussion about the Class and Behaviour Modelling of the
application is also provided in this report.
Project Brief
With this web based system the students could obtain the study materials that are provided by
the teachers or academic staff. Student can access his or her portal at any time. It can be
considered to be helpful for the students as they can obtain the material according to their
convenience (Munro 2015). The project is being developed because in the manual academic
processes, the academic staff and the students cannot collaborate efficiently, and it leads to
the minimal development of the students of university.
