INTRODUCTION To have a better and effective society it is very important to have good health and social care practices. To give support to the good mental health to the customers who use such services, workers and staff of the care services work properly for this. The common principles that support the prosperity and good health in the adult social care is on the basis of work by Mental Health foundation which is published by the skills for care (Aronsson, Abrahamsson and Spens2011). This report is based on the topic of Principles of Health and Social Care, which is based on the case study Angela and her parents. A huge structure for the workforce of social care is to give high quality services and support so as to give promotion to the mental health and to the people's advancement who are having lack in care and the support is also outlined in common core principles of health and social care. TASK 1 1.1 Explanation of support principles which make sure the health and social care principles of individual Success of the health and social care system is necessary and is based on the principles. Principles can be defined as the rule or the manner that guide proper regulation on the basis of vital laws that will support the proper working. In the case of Angela and her family, principles of the support can be applied in such way which will help with the better health care and well being. In this situation, the difference related to the culture and belief can be there between the Angela and her parents, as there are many difference in the ideas of people who come at the health and social care and it is the responsibility of the health care practitioners that these ideas should be respected (Bairdand and et.al., 2014) Government of the country is continuously working to support the welfare of the country and its people. Support and the service people are given facilities which include help things in regards with home care like shopping and cleaning, day centres that will give least care at best, adaptions and tools for house, day care centres for children when no one there to look for them. Health of the person is another kind of support which is in relation with the social co-ordination and support. By having a social and better communication system with friends, family and neighbour produce a effective situation (Bradleyand and et.al., 2011).
1.2 Procedure to protect patients, clients and colleagues from harm To promote and maintain the heath of the patient and to make them feel comfortable is the major aim of the principles of health and social care. By having a look on the Angela and Angela's parents health, it is very important that they should be provided with the proper staff and safety who are there in the service of health care. The outline of the procedure will help in developing, inspecting and executing the process and policies to decrease the patients, clients and colleagues risk of harm (Dahlgaard, Pettersen and Dahlgaard-Park, 2011).This outline can be like: ï‚·Analyses of the path which is taken by the risk of harm to take risks from : 1.Other patients, colleagues and clients 2.Surroundings 3.Internal problems 4.Service environment 5.Patients, colleagues and clients themselves, or to other persons and the system In the case of Angela, by having proper procedure and safety, her problem can be solved and the safety will be ensured and protected by the workers of the health care systems and this can be done by : ï‚·Having the proper list of the emergency numbers. ï‚·Securing the availability of the first aid kits. ï‚·Training other people about the first aid kits. ï‚·Giving health issues guarantee like infectious illness and hygiene. ï‚·Providing safe, sound and protected environment (Drummond and et.al., 2015). ï‚·Carrying clear responses and methods ï‚·Pointing out the action time. ï‚·Showcasing the time of approval. ï‚·Showcasing of the survey time. 1.3 Benefit of person centred approach with health and social care service users Person centred approach is very helpful in fulfilling the requirements and preferences of the clients and patients. Service used are generally responsible for taking the proper and effective decisions by maintaining dignity and privacy in appropriate way. To deal with the patients effectively and efficiently is the best exercise in the environment of health and social care. This

approach will be very useful in the case of Angela as the person centred approach helps in providing support to the patients and clients. It also recognize the relationship responsibilities and roles of family of the users of the service and then provides the service accordingly (Gamliel and Peer, 2010). Public service politicians, personalization and policy makers are becoming fashionable nowadays for providers. Person centred approach will only be helpful for those people who rely on it. This approach helps in making job easy of the workers of the health care. M1 The advantage for using the approach of person centred with the user like Angela, is that if the health care workers will provide services according to the demand and ways then it will help in recovering the patients health rapidly. Problem of the Angela can be identified easily and the type of services which she will like can be find out easily with the help of person centred approach. For example, as Angela is the old woman, so will not like to live in the health care centres if she will not get support from the service providers and if proper services will not be provided to her (Health and Health & Social Care Assessment Principles. 2015). 1.4 Conflicts and ethical dilemmas that arise when support, care and protection is provided to the health care users Many times some situations are encountered in which providers of the service care for patients is contradictory. Care workers always try to maintain the wellness of clients and the organizational policies but there are some situations in which they are not able to implement the rules properly. Moral dilemmas build such kind of situations. In the case of Angela and her parents, conflict between the service user and the care workers arise that may be based on difference in culture, views and beliefs (Gibson and et.al., 2010). Services of the health and social care will get hampered by the conflicts and it may also affect the health and social care quality. Sometimes the users of the service make worthless point as they decided to take the shelter medicines. It is very necessary for the service user to take proper and regular medication to get back to the normal life. On the other, workers of the health and social care respect and obey the decisions that is being forced by the clients and as a result moral dilemma is being faced by the care workers. It refuses to give the services to the users and to take care of the responsibilities of services which is given to user. In some cases if the staff of the client care is responsible. Sometimes client disagree to take medication and the care worker cannot force them for it and are not able to give
them motivation always. To handle such kind of such becomes very difficult for the health and social care centres (Harris-Roxas and et.al., 2012). TASK 2 2.1 Implementation of the regulations, legislation, policies and codes of practice in relation with health and social care Health and social make sure to give the best quality regarding physical state and the practice of social care. Accomplishment of the laws, regulations, policies and code of practice in parallel with local and national policies and the consumer laws of services is very cardinal and weighty. Care workers should follow rules and regulations all time which makes this job very sensitive (Light, 2010). It is the practice according to the codes and laws by which attribute of the management duties are properly maintained. Data Protection Act, must be taken into consideration by the employees which explains that the clients and the other person don't have any right for revealing the necessary and important information, it can only be accessed by the right person under the act of data protection. There is one more regulations which is named as the control of substance hazardous to health regulation (COSSH). This regulations describes that when there is need then the materials and the chemicals can be used which is guaranteed by the law and only the right person can access it. 2.2Localproceduresandpoliciesthataredevelopedaccordingtonationalandpolicy requirement Policies should be simple and clear, and should be easy which will help in improving and cleaning out the confusion regarding the policy. It should be free from errors. National and the local policies helps in reflecting the cultural values and sector which can be done by following various principles. There are different types of organisation, so every policy does not suit all types of organisation (Mechanic, 2012). There should be change in the upcoming policies of future regarding the improvement in the quality of service and care which is being provided by the care centres. Policies generally reflects the culture, therefore they should be easy and comfortable, but there are some cases when the employees disagree to follow the regulations and rules. Policies and the rules should be supervised regularly and accurately for maintaining its effectiveness. It is necessary for the law makers and the employers to upgrade the policies, rules and regulation so that they can be modified accordingly as per the necessary requirements. By
abiding the national and the local policies, local area culture can be impacted. For the technological development, and for the changes in the society, there are some faults in the existing policies and laws. Therefore it is very necessary to have the synchronisation and correlation among the local and the national policies. To enhance the effectiveness of the policy, it is very necessary that there should be no confusion (Millar and Hall, 2013). 2.3 Impact of legislation, regulation, policy and codes of practice on organizational practice and policy According to the regulatory policies, rules, legislation, regulation and code of practice, it helps in providing the crucial contribution and the appropriate and effective guidelines. Rule and the regulation which is provided by the organizational policies make sure that all institutions are practising it. It is sometimes challenging for the local authorities and communities to make policies in regards with the local children and their health, as it is legal and there is no reference required for the legislation. An ethical and suitable working environment should be created for care workers and the local children, if the law is followed by them. It is very easy to use the organizing policy of the particular organization without the serious conflict (Moule and Hek, 2011). Both the employees and the employers and the responsible authority have to follow and obey the regulations and rules and can also correct them. Immediate steps can also be taken to punish those who will break the law. It is possible for an organisation to function properly without having any issues, if there will appropriate practise of the laws and if organisation policies will be followed properly. If an employee will have any confusion about the laws and regulations then they can ask their superiors and they will assist employees to get out of dilemma. D2 There are both positive and the negative impact of the policy and the legislation on the safeguarding of children and on the patient. If there is the implementation of the health and the safety act at the care centres then it will help in providing the secure and safe environment for the treatment of children. Further if the care environment is not safe then the children may get the risks in relation with the hazards.

TASK 3 3.1 Theories of health and social care practice For the practices of the health and social care, there are few theories that help in the proper practising of the care related services. Requirements of the patients and clients and the various process and the events get priority with the help of these theories. For promoting the healthy lifestyle and to achieve the high level of physical, mental and emotional fitness for patients, plans can be made with the help of these theories. One of the theory of health and social care is the Maslow's need hierarchy theory, it is a kind of modern theory which is applied the practices of health and social care (Munn-Giddings and Winter, 2013). According to this theory, requirement of the individuals are differentiated in various levels and the priority is being given to the basic needs of the person. According to this theory, a person cannot go to the other level, without meeting the basic needs at the low level. Physiological and the physical needs are the mostbasicneedsofthepersonaccordingMaslow'stheory.Safety&security, love& belongingness, self esteem and self actualization takes it to another level. To implement the plans of the service, this theory should be applied. Another theory is the Freud theory which explains that the human's brain have three parts that are Id, it is the rude thing which have link with basic needs. Super ego is in relation child development about culture, it also reflects morals and rules. Ego is less than rude and it is unconscious and conscious. According to this theory,it can be said that the conflict arise because of these three things (Gamliel and Peer, 2010) 3.2 Impact of social process on health and social care users To make sure the resistance of the operatives, evolution and cast of social and health care strategies consider the social process. Social process plays a important role in the society. Individual's behaviour, process of excepting it and to reach over the various circumstances are influenced by it. To ensure the effectiveness of the intervention, development and planning practices in the care centres consider the social process. It is necessary to implement the services of the social and health care in different way so as to make them effective. It is done because there are many people who are from different culture and they react in several ways in several situations (Peluso and et.al., 2012). If the people will consider there own culture superior from others, then that may create disputes at the workplace.
There are various negative and the positive impact of the social process. In the case of Angela, it will help in making her life easy. There are different kinds of behaviour which is accepted in different situations in the social process. With the help of the social process the lifestyle and the choice of action of the individual also get influenced. Behaviour of the people are affected in many ways in social process. Its negative effect is like people start drinking, smoking and unhealthy practices. It is very difficult to change these risky practices as the culture of people force them to do so. Because of the attributes which are related with culture, more than one service user may favour the care staff. All the user of the service are given equal treatment so as to avoid the illegal treatment which will create bias (Reeves and et.al., 2011). M2 Impact of the social process on the users of the services can be like that the poor people will get the free services whenever they will feel sick. They can get the free of cost treatment which will help them to get free from the disease. Further if the person is not employed, then he will not be able to get the good treatment as he will not have sufficient money. 3.3 Effectiveness about inter-professional working Whenever there is a link between the practices of the health and social care continuously in coordination with the service provider of health care from different fields, then the inter- professional providers of the health care are called for work. Respiratory therapists, nurses, health care assistants, doctors and the people who are involved in the process of well being should get included in it so that they can provide the their knowledge in the health care services. Various people who are from the same field will be able to fulfil the expertise shortage easily. It will help to redevelop the idea which will help in decreasing the service delay (Strickland and et.al., 2011). For example if the nurse will work with doctor then it will have more knowledge and in the doctor's absence it will assist in giving better treatment to patients, and they also helps to give medicine to patient. Role of the doctor is to diagnose the patients disease and then provide treatment accordingly. D1 Inter-professional working helps to increase the skills of service providers of the care centre like it will improve the skills of doctor, nurses etc. and also helps to give best service to the patients. It is also analysed that if the nurses will work with doctors, they will increase some knowledge and can provide treatment in the absence of doctor (Reeves and et.al., 2011).
TASK 4 4.1 Duties and responsibilities within and outside the health and social care centres As the care worker, it is the responsibility to give conductive and curative surroundings to the different cases in the health care settings. The most important thing in such settings is the trust, as the patients spend their most of the time with workers and therefore the patient count on workers for the help. It is the duty of the care worker is to make sure the proper administration of the various functions and the independence & the needs of the patients should also be taken into consideration. It is the duty of the care worker to provide the proper care to the patients or to the clients (Swayne, Duncan and Ginter, 2012). They should monitor all the services which is provided to the clients and the rights are applied and reserved to ensure that it gets meet. By performing the role properly, activities related to the health and physical things can also meet the clients physical demands. Physical needs can be like feeding and other physical activities. Hygiene will also be maintained by the workers of the health and social care. They are working to promote the health and ensuring the proper safety and health. Health care service providers believe that they will get protection if the mental, physical and the financial interest of the patients will get fulfilled. These are some of the duties and the responsibilities of the care workers that they needs to perform to fulfil the needs and the requirements of the patients and the clients(Reeves and et.al., 2011). 4.2 Evaluation of the contribution for the implementation and development of health and social care policy Employees in the health and social care should follow the policies to make sure the smooth working of the health care settings. Organizing principles are very important for the organization. Organizations policies should be blunt and clear so that they will help in reducing the misinterpretation and misunderstandings. They get affectedby it as it helps to give contribution in the implementation and the development of the policies. A good workforce and the staff loyalty will be maintained properly with the help of the organizational policies. With the proper implementation of the policies, performance and the contribution of the care workers will also be taken into consideration as these policies affect the service providers. Non compliance is the measure issue regarding the policy in the various settings, so the policies should be reviewed from time to time so as to maintain its effectiveness (Peluso and et.al., 2012).

D3 Gibbs cycle helps me to understand the problems in an effective manner, it also helps to understand the problems and feelings of the patients, with the help of which proper solutions can be taken out. It has six stages which includes description, it will help in identifying the actual problem related to the patients suffering (Swayne, Duncan and Ginter, 2012). In next stage that is feeling, it helps to make the problem understand and will also describes patients feelings. In evaluation, positive and the negative aspects can be evaluated. In analysis, it will explain what further analysis can be made. In conclusion, it will define what more can be done and in action plan it will be described that if the problem will arise again what things can be done. 4.3 Recommendations to meet good practice requirements It is very important that a person should have proper knowledge about the code of the practice so as to fulfil the requirement and the needs of the good practice. If the managers will go with the national standards and the policies, performance can be determined and measured with the help of the actual knowledge . The organisation should make set up by the health and social care practice and the regulations and the rules should be followed to maintain the law. As a care worker it is the duty to raise itself in the practice and can get obligated for the implication of the additional training and studies in work. Policies should be developed and benefit should also be given to the service providers so as to motivate them for work. M3 My own contribution to meet the good practice requirement can be explained as I will ensure to give treatment to the patient according to their needs and demands. I will also try to make effective relationships with the users of the service so that their problems can be easily solved. CONCLUSION There is no one who is out of the illness risk and for the medication and the treatment everyone visit the social and the health care settings. From the above report it can be concluded that the important role is being played by the care workers in regards with patients which will help to overcome their illness by giving proper care and services to the patients. Proper guidelines and the regulations should be followed by the service providers so that they can get aware of their duties and responsibilities. Inter-relationship between the care workers will remain
same all the time as they will provide services. Government organisations and the service providers and various health and social care setting will work together for the different disease and hazards so as to reduce them.
