The analysis will mainly highlight the issues associatedwith palliative and end of life care along with a critique of the holistic perspectives used formaximizing the quality of life of the patients and their family members.DiscussionTwo issues of palliative carePhysical issueThe main physical issues faced by the patient who are under palliative care includefatigue, breathless, pain scores and pain skin breakdown (Zimmermann et al, 2014). In caseof Mitchell her main physical issues highlighted in the video is her breathlessness. Mitchellwas reportedly telling that she is facing difficulty in breathing and hence she was unable tosatisfy her professional job role and at the same time, she is unable to drive her children toschool. Emotional issueThe main emotional issue, which is profound in palliative care, is emotional distress,depression, anxiety and a sense of hopelessness (Evangelista et al., 2012).
