2Satya Prakash Reddy Vencha’s Managerial Leadership RolesThe CVF analysis shows that my leadership roles in the four quadrants are almostbalanced except in the first quadrant where the broker role is 4.5 and the rest are above 5.4 withthe highest at 6.0 (Quinn et al., 2011). Working in the hotel and hospitality business enabled me nurture my soft skills because Iam good in teamwork and hence I encourage teamwork. Additionally, I am able to act as amediator in case of conflicts amongst the workforce(Tong and Arvey, 2015). On the hand, I aman innovator who is able to make changes in organization. Also, I ensure that there is theadoption of novel ideas and processes in hospitality and hotel industry like use of social media inreaching clients and selling out organization’s brands. On the contrary, I am below average in thebroker role where maintenance of the relationship with external partners as well as externalresource mobilization is essential. This compels me to work hard towards acquiring this softskills (Tong and Arvey, 2015).Irrespective of the above, I am a result oriented leader who focuses on results. This getsattained with the efficient utilization of resources so as to realize greater output. In order toaugment this, I employ good planning, assign tasks, and keep clear and consistent goals (Quinnet al., 2015). On top of this, I am a good coordinator who has precise commitment to work,organizes the structure of work and schedules tasks accordingly. The monitoring capable permitsme to ensure high performance both within the individual employees and in the overallorganization (Tong and Arvey, 2015).
