Plan A In the next 3 months, jobs
regarding project management can be
applied. Different skills and abilities
regarding this sector can be utilized
properly to gain success in a career.
In the next six months, the
current job cannot be left because it is
helping to acquire new skills like
leadership, administration, and
management. Moreover, different
personal skills like communication,
problem-solving and decision making
can also be improved by continuing
the current job. As opined by Taber &
Blankemeyer (2015), frequent job-
hopping impacts on the resume and
career development of a candidate.

because essential skills like project
management, project metrics, and risk
can be utilized properly. Moreover, if

coordinator will act as a great
facilitator in this case.
Lack of opportunity is a great
challenge that can be faced during plan
A. In this competitive age, the
adequate opportunity is lacking that
prevents candidates from achieving
their desired job role. As a solution to
this challenge, the candidate must
utilize those opportunities that are
available. Another challenge is a lack
of experience because I do not have
previous experience as a project
manager. This can be solved by
compensating with soft skills like
project management and design.
Plan Z If Plan A and plan B fail, I
would like to investigate the gaps in
my knowledge and skills. I will use
my savings for getting training for
professional improvement. I will apply
for the same designation in different
companies.
If both the previous plans do not
work then I will invest the savings
collected from old jobs to increase my
skills and abilities. As said by Waddell
et al. (2015), investing more in
improving skills helps a candidate to
achieve more opportunities in the

future. Different essential skills like
problem-solving, decision making and
leadership can be improved properly at
this time. On the other hand,
knowledge about project management
and required specialization skills like
project scheduling, recruiting can be
gained properly. Hence, in the future,
the chance of achieving the role of a
project manager can increase, which is
mentioned in plan A.
I will not go back to my old company
as I may not get the same respect and
position after this gap. Rather, I would
prefer to apply to different companies
for the position of the administration.
As I have experience of working in
this position, I am eligible to apply for
administration jobs. In interviews,
interviewers can ask me about the gap
in my career. I will honestly state
about the failure of Plan A and B with
reasons. I will try my best to make
them trust in my abilities.
