Introduction
The Johari Window model is used for understanding the individual perception of others. The
Johari Window model consists of four window plane or quadrants such as open area, hidden
area, blind spot, and unknown (Berland, 2017). Depending on these four areas, I am introducing
myself for this study. Open area defines the person behaviors, attitude, feelings, emotion, views,
and skills which are known to another person. Based on these factors, I am an excellent
communicator who can express his/her feelings easily by maintaining a positive attitude with
others.
In addition, the hidden area is the place where personal information become unknown to that
person (Gamayanto et al., 2019) Depending on this, I am a shy person who sometimes does not
share his/her feelings to others. The blind spot is the area interpreted by others, and depending on
this; I am a simple person who does not follow any complicated way to reach the goal. The
unknown area is the part which is unaware of a person. Based on this, I can say that sometimes I
express my feelings and sometimes not and the main reason behind it is unknown to me. Hence
from this Johari window, I can easily introduce myself in front of the reader.
