Background of the research topic
A general method and concept used by organisations to hire and retain personnel by utilising a
variety of strategies to maximise individual ability is referred to as talent management. As a
result, there is a favourable impact on the company’s overall efficiency. When it comes to
management techniques, they look at the needs of the company to find out about rising costs,
changing employee behaviours, and obstacles in the hiring process (Gibb and Zhang, 2017).
Talent management is a collection of HR processes that work together. As a result, talent
management operations are more than the sum of their parts. This also implies that, in order to
realise its full potential, a talent management strategy is essential. HR can concentrate on a
variety of aspects of talent management. This is especially useful when hiring managers seek to
hire people from diverse walks of life.
Background of research organisation
Bentley Motors, a British manufacturer and marketer of SUVs and luxury cars with headquarters
in England, is used in this study. W. O. Bentley launched the company in North London in 1919.
The majority of Bentley vehicles are now built at the company's Crewe facility, with a limited
number being built at Volkswagen’s Dresden factory in Germany and bodywork for the
Continental and Bentayga being built at the Volkswagen Bratislava Plant.
Research Rationale
The main reason of this research is to improve skills and knowledge in relation to the specific
research topic and area. It is mostly centred on assessing the impact of talent management
techniques on the recruitment and retention of personnel over time. This study allows researchers
to examine the actual influence of a certain topic on total staff productivity. Apart from that, it
aids in the development of professional and personal interest in the research issue in question.
This will have a direct impact on the study's ability to reach a favourable and reliable conclusion.
