1HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Part 1a Describe a paradigm shift that you have experienced in your life. According to the bookThe 7 Habits of Highly Effective Peopleby Stephen Covey the relevant ways of attaining the goals of the business people have been discussed (Covey, 2014). I would like to discuss about the ways by which the business people can reach to their desired achievements. These 7 most effective habits are to be proactive, beginning the process with the end in mind, always putting the first things first, always thinking of the win-win situations, seeking to understand first and then get understood and finally to sharpen the saw to get the advantage. I have also been through some mini paradigm shifts in my life. I faced some challenges when I was the captain of the football team of my class. I could not manage my team properly since many of the players had their own egos and they had problems with playing with some of the players of the team (Covey, 2014). I led them and taught them that they should play as a team and try to win the match for us. Otherwise, we would not be able to win the match. I learnt that these issues might occur in my future profession as well and I have to deal with these sensitive issues in the mature ways. I saw the situation from a different perspective and advised them that they should always think of the win-win situation in all terms and ensure the best possible outcomes for the ream. This is the time I realized I had the leadership skills.
