INTRODUCTION
Leadership can be defined as activity which help the organizational manager to lead the
group of people in the organisation or other place. Further, leadership theories play important role
for management of corporation to generate leadership skills in staff members which aid to manage
its organizational work (Schyns, Kiefer and Tymon, 2011). It essential for corporation to achieve its
goals and objectives within specific industry in the appropriate manner. The present report the
describes about development of chosen leadership approach and its detail information in the
organisations. It explains effective reasons to select specific leadership for the organisational
development in the corporations (Winkler, 2010). In addition to this, it represents the advantages of
particular leadership theory which support the corporate managers or leaders to complete its jobs in
the enterprises.

History of behaviour leadership theory
Over the years, leadership has been studied in different ways. Some leaders used it in their
internal environment of company and other one was used for better development of company.
According to Jackson and Parry (2011), as time passes the meaning of leadership theories changes.
In 1940-1950, it was though that leaders are only for decision making and employees should do
their work. In contrast, of leadership theory as per Komives and Wagner (2011) leaders are
supportive element of organisation. They time to time give their better suggestion to company and
raise their image in competitive environment. Leadership theories are basically for better
understanding between employees and head department. Hence, behaviour theory is one of the best
leadership theories for better understanding of organisation. The reason behind this is that human
behaviour is changing every day or minute so sometimes it creates some misunderstanding at
workplace. For better understanding it is important for leader to know their employees very well.
Hence, behaviour leadership theory is one of the best leadership theories. This is as by applying this
theory leader influences the employees. According to Pinnington (2011) leader may change but it is
important for organisation that in their time duration how they guide their employees and motivate
them. As per Lynch (2012) in the 1940s and 1950s, organisation divided their whole work as per
behaviour approach. In this, manager first observed the nature of employees and gave them work
according to their behaviour. In current time, this theory has emerged frequently and all
organisations have adopted it for their better development. The main concept behind using this
theory is developing and deliberating the skills of employees and making them perfect as per
company requirements. Hence, as time passes' leader changes their perception and for better
development of organisation they use behaviour theory in different way. Head department take
feedback from their employees from time to time which are based on their working conditions and
