1 Document Purpose
The project management plan is approved document defines how the project is initiated, executed and
monitored. The purpose of this document is to provide details on the selected project on implementation of
Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in Lincraft Australia Pty Ltd. The project management plan
document describes each phase of project from project initiation to project closure (Li, Xu, & Zhang, 2017).

2.2 Project Background
The project plan is based on implementing HRIS in Lincraft Australia Pty Ltd. With help of this system, the
business is accessed to the technological advances and will allow to ease the employee management by
means of using the payroll system. By integration of this system, Lincraft is capitalized the cost savings as
well as increasing efficiencies by eliminating the human errors and risks linked with the manual payroll
system. The benefit of this project is focused on reduction of cost and increased in business efficiencies with
high employee satisfaction.
3 Project Definition
The business case of this project is to select a vendor as well as implement HRIS solutions to help in
managing the human capital of Lincraft Australia Pty Ltd. The company is the line of business included retail
sale of the supplies, patterns and fabrics. As the business is continued to grow as well as expand, the
solution will help the business to grow more in the Australian market. In order to resolve the human
challenges, Lincraft will locate the HRIS solutions from the vendors with best meetings with the project
requirements as well as goals. Before starting the project plan, the project team will conduct a risk analysis
for establishing the project risks (Kerzner, 2017). The scope of this project is reviewed to make sure that
alignment of project goals as well as objectives are established by the project stakeholders and project
sponsor.
3.1 Project Objectives
The objective of the project is to:
To implement the HRIS system by providing managerial as well as economic benefits
To reduce headcount of the employees and achieve monetary savings process
To provide up-to-date information available about the project employees
To reduce data entry errors and mistakes allowed the employees to perform better business work
To reduce paperwork as well as allow an employee goal settings
3.2 Project Scope
The project scope of implementing HRIS solution is facilitating the workflow, improvement over the business
efficiency as well as store and collect the information. The main scope of this solution is to track data, payroll
purpose as well as accounting functions in the business.
3.3.1 Inclusions
The following items are included in the scope of the project:
Implementation of HRIS system for accommodating growth of the business
Centralizing HR as well as payroll functions
Using the technology for increasing productivity and customer satisfaction

The following items are excluded from the scope of the project:
Training of the employees to use the proposed system

4 Approach
In order to implement right HRIS system, it is required to determine project approach to evaluate the solution
against the business requirements and needed HR functions defined for the project planning. The systematic
project management approach helps the project team to achieve benefits from the implementation and
provide sustainable solution to the project client. The procedures used to successfully implement HRIS
solutions for the business are:
