Executive Summary
This document represents the desire of FTMC Pty Ltd to improve its
appointment, record keeping, payment and the registration system so
that the business can run more efficiently. Currently, this Medical Centre
is using traditional technique that is the manual system to accomplish
certain business practices which includes paperwork, receiving payments
and keeping patients records, centers records, staffs and doctor’s records
in a traditional file system. This project includes various pharmacy centre,
appointments of patients, storing their details such as appointment
details, bill payments, and drug re-order details are also computerized.
This system gives the facility to identify each patient uniquely, the
pharmacy centre in which the patient is allocated, doctor, nurse allocate
to each patient, reports automatically. User has the facility to check
availability of particular doctor using their unique registration number.
The system can be updated and modify either the administration or by the
receptionist. It provides an interface which can be effectively used by the
user and also the data retrieval process is very efficient in the system.
The detailed description involving functions and designs about the
pharmacy centre management system is provided in the document.
