Part A:
ISO/IEC 29119:
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) jointly developed and approved the ISO/IEC/IEEE
standard. There are five parts of the SO/IEC standard namely, test Concept and
definitions, test processes, test documentation, test techniques and a soon to be
made available part keyword-driven testing. The standard can be used by the
organizations as a baseline. Also, the organizations that has strict conformance as
an aim, is supported well by the standard (Shteingart & Burmistrov, 2016). The
availability of ISO/IEC standard in the market is its only drawback, as it is not
available freely on the web and has to be purchased from their website.
i. Concept and Definition
The first part of the standard namely test concepts and definitions defines concepts
and vocabulary in this part. ISTQB glossary of terms are reused by the ISO/IEC
29119 in their vocabulary.
ii. Test Processes
A generic model of test processes are defined in this part of the standard. This
processes address the test management, test organization and test execution that
relies on the risk based testing approach. test planning, monitoring, controlling and
test completion are defined in test management processes. The test processes in
ISO/IEC 29119 have an introduction purpose, outcome, task and activities. It also
defines some of the informational items that further describe the test processes
(Gavrila, Ionescu, Tiganoaia, & Guliman, 2017).
iii Test documentation:
The test processes in part two is aligned with the test documentation in this third
part. In this part of the standard, the examples of the utilization of documentation in
traditional and agile development projects and environments are described.
iv. Test Techniques
The test design techniques based on structure and specification are provided in this
part. With the use if these techniques the development of test cases can be done
accordingly. For each technique the steps for deriving test conditions, test cases
and coverage items are defined in this part (Veenendaal, 2016).
v. Conclusion
The purpose of standard is to have standard practice in testing and same testing
technique must be followed and same quality assurance is maintained overall.

Part B:
TestRail is tool for management of testing and it is web based tool. This tool is
widely popular between the developers, testers and other stake holder in order to
manage and organize the testing efforts of software. This tool is used as centralized
test management tool which enables them to communicate with QA team and other
stakeholders effectively (Stuckey, Sarkani & Mazzuchi, 2017).

program.

2) When the element to be searched is present on the last position of the sorted
array:

The array should be entered as 5, 7, 12, 23, 56, 78, and 98. 98 is searched using
the program.
Expected result:
The expected output must be 6th Position (from 0)
3) When the element to be searched is present on the middle position of the sorted
array:
The array should be entered as 5, 7, 12, 23, 56, 78, and 98. 23 is searched using
the program.
Expected result:
The expected output must be 3rd Position (from 0)
