Part A:
ISO/IEC 29119:
The ISO/IEC/IEEE is a standard developed jointly and approved by the International
Organization for Standardization ISO along with Institute of Electrical and
Electronics IEEE. The standard is comprised of five parts that includes test concept
and definition, processes, techniques and documentation. Mostly the organization
uses this standard as a base to perform the testing, and the organizations having
strict conformance to be achieved has great use of this standard. This standard is
not available freely in the market and can be purchased only from the ISO/IEC
website.
i. Concept and Definition
This is the first part of the standard. Under concepts and definition there is concise
explaination of the concepts and vocabulary which is reused from the ISTQB
glossary and used in the standard.
ii. Test Processes
This part describes a generic model to carry out test processes. In this processes,
test organization, management and execution is addressed which is based on the
approach of risk based testing. Plan, control, monitor and completion of test are the
part of test management process and are describe in the standard. ISO/IEC 29119
test processes has introduction, purpose, task, activities and outcomes. Other
informational items that elaborates the test processes are also described in this
part.
iii Test documentation
The test processes defined in the above part 2 and the test documentation in this
part are aligned. This part describes the use of test documentation for the agile and
traditional project testing and their environments along with examples.
iv. Test Techniques
The design techniques in this part is defined on the basis of test-specification and
test structure. Using the test techniques test cases can be easily developed. This
part further describes the steps to derive test cases, test conditions and coverage
items (Duran, Builes, & Gamboa, 2017)
v. Conclusion
With the use of this standard the tester can follow an easy going practice for testing
software and ensure consistency and quality assurance in every environment.

Part B:
TestRail is the testing management software, which simplified the process of testing
of software. With the help of this tool, the complete effort of testing can be
determined and with the help of this tool proper communication can be done with
the different stakeholders involved (
Presswire, 2018). In this document we have
created the test cases for the program of binary search and perform the test case
execution.
Features of Test Rail Tool:
Positive test cases and description:

1) Test case 1: Here the element is searched which is present at the first position in
the array.
Array having values 5, 7, 12, 23, 56, 78, 98. The element 5 is searched in the
program.
Expected result:
It should return position 0.
2) Test case 2: Here the element is searched which is present at the last position in
the array.
