CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 Introduction
Literature review is the second chapter of a dissertation which is completely based upon the secondary research and for that different
secondary sources will be used that will assist to meet the define aim of a research. In this section, scholar generate the themes which are based
upon research objectives and tries to conduct the research in better manner. So the section explains the importance of workplace culture and
employee motivation in which different views of author are considered. Also different models are also applied that helps to support the research
in better manner. Apart from this, section also describe the relationship between the workplace culture and its importance to motivating the
employee within a company.
2.2 Concept of workplace culture and employee motivation
According to Loftus, Goold and Mac Giollabhui (2016) workplace culture is the shared values and belief system that people share within
a workplace. This in turn help to shape by individual upbringing as well as social context. Thus with the help of positive working culture
business generate its uniqueness and tradition towards their customers and competitor. Therefore, it is stated that with positive workplace
culture, company attract talent and drives engagement which leads towards a job satisfaction. Ketonen-Oksi (2017) argues that culture not only
help to improve the employee performance but it also assists to improve leadership. Such that it communicates the way through which the
business trusted towards their employees. Though culture also impact upon how the employees interact with their work and creates direct impact
upon the employee performance as well. Hence, it is realized that workplace culture is consider the most important key aspect that leads a
business towards positive direction.
Lamar, Forbes and Capasso (2019) share their views and stated that the key to a successful organization is to have a positive culture
which is strongly held and support manager to develop best strategy to take a business at further level of success. In the same way, HR of the
15

company also tries to develop ways through which culture is improved. So organizational culture is surrounded by variety of ways which include
leadership behaviour, communication styles. Therefore, if the company recruit the best employees to their company because of having positive
working culture, otherwise it will lead to reduce the employee turnover rate. Munawwaroh and et.al., (2019) argues that employee motivation is
the term which is used by the company in order to motivate the workers of the company. Hence, it is defining as a level of energy, commitment
and creativity of a company’s worker that helps to bring their job. There is a need to motivate the employees because they are key pillar of a firm
and they only help management to complete the define aim and objectives. Hence, motivated employees can lead to increase productivity and
also allow organization to attain the higher level of output as well. That is why, it is stated that company should develop range of method that
assist to motivate employees which directly impact upon the employee performance.
Lorincová and et.al., (2019) share their views that by applying the Herzberg Theory of motivation which is also called motivation-
hygiene theory. Author stated that there is some factor which satisfy the need of employees and vice versa. The theory stated that there are two
factor that clearly shows the motivation level of a company such that if a hygiene factor such that salary, working culture, safety and security are
unsuitable at workplace and this in turn leads to dissatisfy the employees that affect their performance level. On the other side, motivating factor
helps to satisfy the employees by meet their personal growth as well. Hence if such factor is effective then it will assist to attain the above-
average performance and leads to motivate the employees as well.

van der Kolk, van Veen-Dirks and ter Bogt (2019) stated that there are five factor describe under job satisfaction or motivation factor
such that achievement, recognition, work itself, responsibility, advancement. Whereas, there are five hygiene factor such that company policy,
supervision, salary, interpersonal relationship and working culture that helps to meet the define aim of a company. On the other side, it is
critically evaluated that under Maslow theory which stated that money is the basis need to buy the food and sleep. Whereas Herzberg addressed
salary is not a motivator but is like a motivation factor that provide recognition to their employees. Khan, Wajidi and Alam (2020) argued that
17

the selected theory is not based upon the reliable and credible research results and that is why, most of the company did not uses the same in
order to improve the results in positive manner.
PANCASILA, HARYONO and SULISTYO (2020) claim that Adam's equity theory also one of the top motivational theory that analyse
the ways through which people are motivated such that if they treated equally and receive what they considered fair then their performance is
18

affected in positive manner. The entire theory is based upon the social exchange theory in which people actually compare their contribution to
work and, cost of their actions which benefited their employees. Therefore, company should make sure that there is an equal ratio for both input
and output and this in turn helps to motivate the employees by reducing inequality. Parashakti and Ekhsan (2020) explain in their study that
workers put input into the job, such as education, experience and experts in order get some outcome in the form of salary, reward, promotion that
helps to keep motivated their employees. This in turn improve the overall performance of the company in positive manner. This type of theory is
not only help in workplace but it also assists in schools that assist to improve the performance of the company in positive manner. That is why,
greater inequity will also lead to greater the distress the individual needs and this in turn motivate the people to meet the outcome and also meet
the define aim. Hence, it is examining that if an employee did not put any effort then it may lead to affect the performance level of a business
which somehow generate low outcome.
If an employee has good experience and skills and put extra efforts to meet the target, then they expect outcome from the company as
well. This in turn help the firm to meet the target on time and sustain the brand image at international level. Also, it is critically evaluated by
Truong and Le (2020) that this theory is not appropriate in all the situation because it does not take into account different in individual needs,
values and personalities. Hence, there is no surety that this theory is beneficial for the company because it may lead to generate some wrong
results as well that somehow affect the brand image of a firm too. Therefore, with the support of these theories, it is analysed that company keep
motivate the employees and tries to provide positive working environment to their workers. Hence, it is examining that there is a need to develop
effective motivational strategy that assist to meet the define aim and take a business at further level of success.
Hence, it is examining that employee motivation is a key to an organization’s success because it is a level of commitment which improve
the performance of a company at better level. So, without it productivity is reduced and lower down the output as well. Badrianto and Ekhsan
(2019) explain in their study that there are many benefit of motivating employees, one of them is to be more productive. It is so because

secondary study reveals that with the help of motivation factors company is able to improve the performance of employee. Also, through
effective strategies companies are also trying to improve the performance. Such that reward and recognition is the basic way that help to improve
the performance and this in turn take a business at further level of success as well. For example, Beck’s Brewery uses monetary and non-
monetary form of reward system that assist to let employees improve the performance level by attaining the define target. Hence, this is shows
that it will assist to improve the overall result of a company in positive manner because it leads to sustain the brand image of a firm at global
level and also working culture also leads to improve the overall performance of a company as well.
2.3 The workplace culture adopted by the company
Bonvillain (2019) explain in their study that a strong, positive and well- communicated culture attracts the talents in which they fit. That
is why, it directly impacts how the employees interact with their work as well as with their peers which leads to happiness and satisfaction.
Hence, by using Handy's culture theory, where author define four different kind of culture i.e. Power, Role, Task and Person.
20
Document Page
Power: It is the basic type of culture which is held with few individuals who influence entire organization. In this type of culture, few rules and
regulations are developed which decide what happens next. With the help of this type of culture, managers make quick decision and as a result, it
helps to meet the define aim of a company as well. This type of culture is considered as a strong culture and also attributed positive to the firm as
well. Croucher and et.al., (2017) also supported that decision under this type of culture are taken by authorized who enjoy special privileges at
21
Figure 3 Handy culture model
Document Page
workplace. So they are considering important people because our take major decision makers. Therefore, it is analysed that employees do not
have a liberty to express their views or share their ideas and this is somehow affect the overall working environment in opposite manner.
Role: This type of firm is based upon rules and it is highly controlled with everyone within a firm. Kozleski and Handy (2017) stated that in this
type of culture manger delegate the roles and responsibilities as per their specialization and qualifications. Hence, every individual is
accountable for their work and they have to take ownership of work which is assigned. This is considering another strong culture that helps
company to attain them define task within defined tenure. For example, Beck’s Brewery adopted role culture which offers security and
opportunity to acquire specialist expertise and thus performance is also awarded to them (Handy's Model of organizational culture, 2020).
Moreover, power comes with responsibility in such a work culture and employees are eligible to perform the duties as per their assigned work.
Task: It is the fourth type of culture which is also followed by the companies in order to solve the critical problems. Hence in such type of
organization, individuals with common interest and specialization come together in order to form a team. Donaldson and Allen-Handy (2020)
share their views and stated that there are generally four to five members in each team which in turn helps to contribute equally and accomplish
task in better way. Through this way, company is able to develop effective communication channel and create a positive working environment
which in turn improve the overall working performance. Also, with the help of such type of culture, company is able to examine the right and
capable employees along with develop strategies which in turn improve the overall performance. Hence, it is examining that through such type
of culture company is able to develop relationship between others and also meet the define aim of a firm as well.
Person: In this type of culture, individuals see themselves as unique and superior to the firm and they also exist in order to work together and
did not involve others to provide their views and this in turn creates negative working environment. Hence, it is examining that this type of
culture is not preferred by the company because it affect the results of a business in opposite manner. Le and et.al., (2020). share their views and
stated that if this type of culture is followed by the firm then employees feel that they are more important than their organization and individuals

Document Page
are more concerned about themselves. So, it is reflected that they are not loyal towards their management and did not decide their work in favour
of an organization. So it is not tolerated by the company as it leads to affect the success of firm as well.
Among all, it is identified that Beck’s Brewery followed task and role culture because it provides positive direction to their employees
and workers also put their efforts in order to attain the define task. Apart from this, Selvarajah and Meyer (2020) explain in their studies that
with the help of task culture, employees are willingly participate within a business and they also make their contribution more freely by
responding to their commitment. Whereas, it is not possible in other type of culture which somehow affect the overall business and it also leads
to increase employee retention. That is why, it is analyzed that with the help of role culture, company able to assign roles and responsibilities to
the employees which in turn, helps to provide lot of stability, certainty and continuity. Though employees are highly controlled with everyone
because of their roles and responsibilities, this in turn improve the overall performance of a company along with strengthen the relationship with
partners as well.
Apart from this, multinational companies are also trying to adopt positive culture but for that they require support and expertise who
assist them to meet the define aim. As per the view of Scholl and Schermuly (2020) if proper hierarchy is maintained within a firm then chances
of generating the results are increases, otherwise it will lead to creates problems. In the same way, Edgar Schein is also suggested the
organizational culture model where the basic assumptions shape and values are visible part of culture. So the author believed that there are three
levels on which the organization culture is based upon such that Artifacts, values and basic assumptions.
According to Scholl and Schermuly (2020) Artifacts are mark as a surface of culture in every organization. Such that languages also
determine the culture of a firm and that is why, organizations are trying to develop effective session through which employee who belongs to
different culture may easily develop relationship with each other. Apart from this, technology is also a part of a culture because it reflects and
shape the values as well as assumptions through their operations and knowledge. For example, Beck’s Brewery is dealing in beer and operating
within many countries and that is why, it is necessary for the firm to maintain the positive working culture which in turn improve the overall
23
Document Page
performance of a company. The physical artifacts are also found through the architecture and interior arrangement along with its allocation and
office design that attract the employees and customers as well.
In the views of Duan, Cao and Edwards (2020) Values reflect opinion of members and how the things are addressed positively.
Therefore, values also assist organizational members in order to classify the situation and action whether the situation is desirable or undesirable.
This also support to provide positive working culture of a firm and that is why, it assists to identify the overall performance of an employees. In
the same way, Beck’s Brewery has its own values in which company is trying to offer the best variety of beer with an aim to improve the brand
image of a firm and takes a business at further level of success. So, it is clearly reflected that with the help of values, company is able to examine
the pattern of a firm and then make decision which somehow leads to generate the best outcomes.
Basic assumption is the kind of belief that is taken for granted as a facts and it is a pattern of basic assumption in which members of a
company make a core of culture in an organization. Hence, Edgar also describe six basic assumptions that helps the company to develop positive
working culture environment to the company. Such that company should provide assumption which is based upon truth and facts so that it will
not affect the results in opposite manner. Another assumption is to determine the importance of time within a group which in turn help to
measure the performance. Through this company is trying to develop personal relationship which in turn improve the results as well as working
culture too. Apart from this, third assumption is how the space of a company is allocated and this helps to shape relationship between individuals
and boundaries between intimacy and privacy. Therefore, it is analyzed that with the help of such assumptions, company is trying to develop
better relationship and meet the define aim.
Basic assumption is also about the nature of human which is fundamentally good or bad because it affects the working environment of a
company and that is why, there is a need to hire best employees which in turn improve the results as well as culture so that they generate the best
outcomes. Fifth assumption is all about to develop relationship with its environment with regard to understanding the work and activity which
they play in order to meet the define task of a company. BENDAHOU and Berbou (2020) also supported and state that with the help of positive
24
Document Page
relationship, employees understand with each other and this in turn improve the productivity as well as profitability. Last assumption is to recruit
the best employees who is able to take responsibilities and distribute the roles with each other so that they generate the best outcomes.
Moreover, through effective working culture employees share their opinion and become happy which in turn improve the overall
working performance of a company. Hence, an effective workplace culture attracts the talent and drives the engagement that affect the
performance. Such that employee engagement, happiness, productivity and retention rate that creates positive recruitment efforts etc. Regen and
et.al., (2020) share their experience that with positive culture company maintain as well as increase the overall performance of a company such
that it increases the well-being for both individuals and communities and that is why, it is essential for the company to communicate with each
other’s which in turn improve the overall performance of the company in positive manner.
2.4 Importance of workplace culture to motivate employees
As per the views of Velten and Lashley (2018) the workplace culture is very important for the company to manage as if the company will
not work in managing workplace culture then this will demotivate the employees and they will not work in proper and effective manner. This is
particularly because of the reason that managing the workplace culture is of importance for the company as this will create a better working
environment for the employees. Thus, this will increase the working efficiency of the employees and as a result of this the overall performance
of the company will increase. Along with this if the company will increase the management of culture in better and effective manner then this
will also motivate the other people to come within the company and this will increase the number of employees in the company. As a result of
this the working of the company will also increase and this will improve the overall performance of the company.
But on the other side Thibault Landry, Schweyer and Whillans (2017) argues that the major importance of effectively managing the
workplace culture is that when the company will create a good working culture then this will develop a good feeling among employees. The
employees of the company will feel more connected towards the company and this will increase the interest of the employees within the

company. This is particularly because of the reason that when the company will create a better working then this will motivate the employees
and they will work in much better and effective manner.
In against of this Sievert and Scholz (2017) argues that the major type of importance for the company to manage the good working
culture in the company is that this will create a clarity of the work among the employees. The major reason for this is that when the company
will create a better culture then this will motivate the employees to work in effective manner. This is particularly because of the reason that when
the company will have clarity of work then this will motivate the employees as the employees knows that how they have to work and what work
they have to do. Hence, when the employees know in advance that what all the working will be undertaken by them then this motivates the
employees to work in much effective manner. Thus, this will increase the motivation level of the employees within the company and eventually
will improve the performance of the company.
On the contrary with reference to the views of Lee, Oh and Park (2020) with the help of the management of the good working culture the
employees of the company get more connected with the organization. This is particularly because of the reason that when the working
environment will be good and cordial then this will increase the level of focus and concentration of the work within the company. This is
particularly because of the reason that when the company will provide a better working condition to the employees then their level of working
will increase. Hence, when the people will be having proper guidance then they will be motivated that company is taking care of them and in
return they will also work in better and effective manner.
On the other side Dang and Chou (2019) criticizes that if the company is in position to manage the culture in proper and effective manner
then this will create and increase the loyalty of the employees towards the company. The major reason for this is that when the culture of the
company will be good then this will motivate the employees and they will like to stay in the company for a longer period of time. Thus, this will
result in the increase in the loyalty of the employees towards the company and they will like to stay a longer within the company. In addition to
26

this when the employees will be loyal then this will also increase the goodwill and market share of the company. As a result of this the position
of the company will also increase as the same set of employees are working within the company for a longer period of time.
In addition to this Thokozani (2017) stated that if there will be loyalty of the employees towards the company then this will increase the
retention of the employees in company for a longer period of time. This is a benefit for the company as when the employees of the company are
more loyal towards the company then this will increase the market reputation of the company. In addition to this when the company will have
employees more attracted towards the working culture of the company then this will increase the ability of company in retaining the employees
for a longer time within the company. in addition to this the loyalty of the employees for the company will increase the working efficiency of the
company and along with this the overall performance of the company will also increase.
Along with this Hitka and et.al., (2019) argues that when the company creates a better working culture in the company then this will
increase the interpersonal relation among the employees as well. This is very important for the company to create a good relation among the
employees. The major reason for this is that when the employees within the company will have cordial relation then this will increase the
working efficiency of employees. In addition to this employee will like to work in working culture provided by the company. As a result of this
the employees will be comfortable working with other and this will increase their working efficiency of the employees. In addition to this when
the employees will have good interpersonal relation with one another then this will increase their interest of working in the company and will
improve the working efficiency of the company. Truong and Le (2020) argued that with the if the company has a negative working environment,
then it somehow leads to lower down employee engagement and this is also result to affect the entire productivity of the workers. That is why, it
can be stated that due to not having effective working culture within business, then it leads to demotivated the employees and increase employee
turnover rate as well. For example, quoted firm uses power as a working culture then employees feel frustrated because they think that company
considered them as a labor, as a result their morale decreases. That is why, culture plays an important role to motivate their employees in
positive manner.
27
Document Page
As per the view of Parashakti and Ekhsan (2020) through effective working culture it Is analyzed that workers are more likely enjoy their
work in order to meet the needs and values, through this, company's employees are consistent towards their work and also develop better
relationship with the coworkers as well. Overall, it is analyzed that with the help of effective cultural environment company's overall production
level is increases which somehow leads to generate the best outcome as well. Also through strong cultural environment company retain the top
candidate which in turn improve the level of employee engagement as well as performance of employees too. Hence, through positive working
environment, company brand image is sustained and this in turn creates positive impact upon the overall business. Therefore, it is analyzed that
every company should maintain the positive working environment which in turn improve the overall performance of a firm and increase
efficiency.
2.5 Conclusion
By summing up above report it has been concluded that organizational culture directly creates positive impact upon the business
performance such that it will help to promote the employees to improve the performance and meet the define aim as well. Moreover, it is also
concluded that there are many motivation theories used by the company in order to improve the sustain the brand image of a company. Such that
this section summarized that Beck Brewery uses Handy culture theory in which task and role culture are adopted by the firm in order to make
sure that each and every employee of a company has their own specified roles and responsibilities which needs to be followed. Therefore, a
strong and positive culture always attract the talent which fit for the organization and that is why, culture impact how the employees interact with
their work and organization. So, it directly leads to satisfy the job of workers and sustain the brand image of a firm as well.

better manner.
29
Document Page
Among all, quantitative research type has been adopted by the scholar because it helps to generate the results in accurate way, as the
study is deals in numerical data only that is why, opting quantitative over others is far beneficial. In addition to this, through this method, scholar
is able prove the hypothesis and analyse the relationship between both variables which in turn assist to meet the define aim in define tenure.
Hence, adopting quantitative study, the chances of getting correct results are higher over qualitative.
3.3 Research Approach
It is a plan and procedure which is consist of different steps of broad assumption to detailed methods of data collection and interpretation.
With the help this type, scholar is able to determine the nature of the research problem and thus generate best outcomes as well. There are three
types of research approach such that inductive approach which starts with a set of observation that search for pattern from observation and relied
upon qualitative strategy. Next is deductive which is associated with hypothesis and also observes any relationship between the variables in
order to obtain valid results. Last is Abductive which is developed in order to minimize the loopholes between qualitative and quantitative
(Snyder, 2019). Therefore, it is used by the scholars because there are infinite number of possible explanation for a phenomenon and that is why,

Interpretation: By applying the statistical tool, it has been examined that value of p is lower than standard criteria such that 0.00 < 0.05 and that
is why, alternative hypothesis is accepted over other. Thus, if the Beck's Brewery opted the positive working environment then motivation level

CHAPTER 5: DISCUSSION
The findings of the primary study clearly reflected that working environment of Beck's Brewery is positive because majority of the
selected respondents are comfortable within an organization. This is possible when company take care of their employees and start implementing
the strategies that encourage them to increase their performance. On the other side, quoted firm also allowed their employees to share their views
while making decision so that they feel important for the firm. This in turn encourage them to raise their performance in order to attain the
defined aim of a business. Croucher and et.al., (2017) also supported the same in their literature review section that through culture, company
sets expectation for how people behave and work together in order to generate the best outcomes. With the help of effective working culture
business makes better decision and also improve the workflow that in turn leads a firm towards positive direction. In addition to this, the findings
from data analysis section also exhibit that Beck's Brewery opted task culture over other because specific teams are designed in order to meet the
define aim of a company. From the literature review it is also mentioned that the task is important thing, as power is distributed among all
members so that problem of a company is met without any extra efforts. That is why, opting this culture among all three is better for Beck's
Brewery in which employees realize their roles and responsibilities in order to attain the define aim.
Apart from this, average number of employees are agreed that organization adhere to zero-tolerance policy against any kind of
discrimination in which it make sure that there is no discrimination occurred at workplace, otherwise it will lead to change the working culture of
a company in adverse manner. Duan, Cao and Edwards (2020) explain in their study that with the help of Zero- tolerance policy, company
provides equal opportunities to all the employees so that they will easily bring the team towards each other so that they all work together in order
to meet the specific needs of a company. Moreover, data analysis section also reflected that most of the employees are highly satisfied because
there is a teamwork and cooperation within a firm and this in turn provides an opportunity to the employees so that they improve the overall
performance. Research also indicates that with the help of effective working culture employees benefited in which they improve their

productivity. Primary research also reflect that Beck's Brewery offered effective performance appraisal system that keep their employees
provoke to raise their production level. Therefore, it is necessary for the company to keep offer both monetary and non- monetary benefits to
their employees so that employee performance is affected in positive manner. Kozleski and Handy (2017) share their views by stating that
monetary incentives may offer short term benefit but considered one of the most effective strategy in order to improve the performance of an
employees. In this, incentives, holiday packages and rewards system are included that helps to increase the performance level. That is why, most
of the top multinational companies introduced such system in order to keep encourage or provoke their employees to raise the performance. This
in turn provide satisfaction among workers with regards to their working environment.
As per the above analysis it could be found that culture of cooperation and teamwork within the organisation is very high and this is good for any
company. The percentage of people who agree that company has culture of cooperation and teamwork are around 60% that is around 9 people
out of 15. It could also be assessed that the people who do not feel the culture of cooperation and teamwork are 26% which are 4 people.
However, this percentage is not very low. Company is required to make strategies and frameworks that will allow the people to feel teamwork
and cooperation. There are many circumstances where employee may not be engaged in activities and processes that are essential for the
business to achieve the goals and objectives due to various reasons such as incompatibility of the employees for such tasks (Odor, 2018). Also
there are employees who have specific tasks to perform where teamwork is not required. In such cases they may not experience the teamwork or
collaboration. Analysing the literature, it could also be analysed that cooperation and teamwork helps the organisation in achieving the targeted
objectives of the business within the given time frame. It could be analysed that company has culture of cooperation and teamwork within the
organisation.
It could be analysed from performance appraisals that around 80% of the people believe that company has good performance appraisal
systems. One believed it as neutral and 2 disagreed with appraisal system. Majority believes company has effective appraisal system. Good
appraisal system encourages and motivates the workforce for working with full efforts and increasing their efficiency. It has been seen that

efficiency and productivity of employees that receive adequate appraisals on their performance tends to be high. It is the most effective way of
motivating and encouraging the employees.
The analysis provides that monetary and non-monetary benefits are given to employees to enable to meet their other needs and
requirements. Around 80% of the staff agreed with this and only 2 members did not agree. The ratio shows that people are happy with the
monetary and non-monetary benefits provided to them (Thokozani, 2017). Analysing the above literature, it could be found that monetary and
non-monetary benefits are essential for encouraging the employees. People tend to put extra efforts when they receive something extra or more
for the efforts given. Therefore, benefits should be provided to enable to achieve the targeted objectives.
Analysis of the satisfied number of employees who agree that the leadership style opted by the leader provides that 66.7% of employee
are highly satisfied with leadership style. Around 20% are satisfied and 13.3% employees were neutral on leadership style opted by company.
Leaders portray the image of company and its values therefore the success of leadership is defined by the number of satisfied people and ability
to achieve required aims and objectives with staff members. Leadership style should be adopted based on the nature and size of the business so
that it is effective.
It could be evaluated that 66.7% employees agree that they are satisfied with job and work because of support and motivation from their
superiors and seniors while 20% did not agree and 13.3% do not know about them. It has been evaluated that employees have higher satisfaction
when they receive support from their seniors and superiors (Brenyah and Obuobisa-Darko, 2017). It is essential for the seniors to guide their
employees in their work so that they could better understand the work and also when they help them in resolving their issues they tend to retain
for longer in company.
Analysis regarding influence of benefits and incentives over the performance of employees shows majority of employees are influenced
by them. It could be seen that 73.3% of employees agree that performance is influenced by benefits, 13.3% did not agreed and 13.3% believed
that it occasionally influence their performance. The above analysis of literature shows that providing incentives and benefits increases the

efficiency of employees as they put extra efforts to achieve the target objectives set by the company for earning benefits and rewards. It also
keeps them motivated towards the work.
The analysis of culture provides that majority of the people believe it influences the performance. 8 employees were very satisfied and 4
employees were satisfied with this statement where only 1 employee was neutral and 2 were very dissatisfied with the statement. It could be
analysed that culture of organisation impacts the performance of employees (Velten and Lashley, 2018). A company that have supportive and
cooperative work environment has higher output and also employees are more satisfied as they are guided regarding their job roles. Healthy
organisational culture boosts up the performance of employees and they tend to work with full efficiency. Leaders must create values and
practices that builds up strong and productive work environment.
The findings also reflected that there is a strong relationship between both variable such that organization culture do affect the
performance of an employees and this is supported by applying the regression analysis in which P value is less than the standard criteria. Thus,
secondary research also indicates that with the help of task working culture which is adopted by Beck's Brewery provides many opportunities to
their employees so that they easily attain the defined task of a company. So, Parashakti and Ekhsan (2020) also emphasized that the nature of
corporate culture which exist within a company is going to decide the degree so that desired outcomes will be generated. As a result, strong
culture provides guidance to workers so that they easily attain the define aim of a firm. Further, employee morale will automatically increase if
they find a right culture opted by the organization and this in turn improve the productivity level of a firm. That is why, having a strong working
environment will decrease many problems and as a result staff turnover rate is decreases, whereas motivation level of an employee increases.
Apart from this, from the primary research it is also find out that almost half of the selected respondents are agreed that by providing
many extra benefits to the employees will help them to improve the overall performance. That is why, company should keep providing range of
strategies in order to raise the employee performance and this in turn affect the overall brand image of a company at positive manner. Also, the

overall assessment clearly exhibits that there is direct relationship between culture and performance and that is why, alternative hypothesis is
accepted over other. Whereas there is no association between gender and their views with regards to culture impact upon employee performance.
But secondary result is also supported the same statement and that is why, many top multinational companies are focusing upon their adopted
organization culture so that it does not cause any negative impact their overall productivity level. Otherwise it will lead to affect the performance
of the company as well as their employees it adverse manner. Hence, thorough effective strategies organization easily improve their overall
