INTRODUCTIONAbortion is a term which means ending of pregnancy by removing an embryo or fetusbefore it get survives outside the uterus. Sometime, it incurred spontaneously which is alsoknown as miscarriage. On the other hand, when a deliberate step have been taken for ending thepregnancy then this will considered as induced abortion (Barot, 2012). Therefore, thisassignment is going to revolve around the thesis statement of pro-abortion with the help ofvarious sources. However, necessary facts or figures associated with the entire procedure ofabortion is outlined in the project. MAIN BODYAbortion is a condition associated with women’s pregnancy in which her pregnancy isgoing to be end. Basically, this word is used just for induced abortion. Similarly, process whichis going to take place after fetus get succeeded in surviving outside the womb is considered as“late termination of pregnancy” or sometime as “late term abortion”. However, if abortion ispermitted by law then this will considered as world one of the safest method in medicine. Inmodern ways, medication or surgery is known for abortions. On the other hand, unsafe abortionsare resultant into almost 47, 000 deaths due to which around 5 million women’s are takingadmissions in hospital every year. Therefore, World Health organization suggested to offering asafe and legitimate abortions to all the needy women’s. In fact, almost 56 million of abortions aretaking place in every year across the world from which almost 45% are completed unsafely. Inpast years, this procedure takes place by the use of herbal medicines, sharp tools, and forcefulmassage or via various other traditional techniques. But now methods have totally changed dueto the emergence of modern technology as well as broader science make things more easy andsafe for women’s (Kirkmanand et. al., 2011).Pro-abortion is a term which means that a lady have a right to decide whether she wantedto end the pregnancy or not. debate over the moral, ethical and legal issue of abortion. Mainly, those who opposed abortionmaintain that an embryo or fetus is human being by having a right to life due to which abortion isequals to murder. On contrary to this, people who are in favour of legality of abortion believesthat every women and female have an authority or fundamental right to make decisions about herown body. Complex solution to the problem- Abortion is not secure as the process itself is onlysuccessful when the life of unborn child’s gets ended. In fact, it’s not only the baby whose life isin danger but its mother also who is facing this problem. Thus, its legally restricted in largenumber of country at the end of nineteenth century and most significant sources of these lawswere imperial nations such as; Europe, Britain, France, Portugal, Spain and Italy who haveimposes their own laws forbidding abortion on their colonies (Cabrera, 2012). In past timeperiod, restrictions on abortion are done because of three main reasons such as; Ending of pregnancy is considered as very much dangerous and abortionists were killedlarge number of women’s Therefore, laws have enacted by having public intention inprotecting females who nevertheless sought abortions and risked their lives while doingso. Abortion is seen as a sin or a kind of transgression of morality and legal laws werehaving intention to punish as well as act as deterrent. This can also restricted for protecting fetal life in few cases. Hence, legal laws against abortion somehow get diminished after the development ofscience and technology, methods of ending a pregnancy is becoming too much safe or secure. Abortion Does Not violate Human Rights- According to Brian McKinley abortiondestroys life of human life but still it’s not murder because embryo or fetus is not just a separatehuman being because it’s not able to survive in outside of women’s body. In fact, only when ababy can survive independently apart from its mother’s body then it can be framed as full humanrights. For example; supporters of abortion claim that zygote-embryo-fetus is not consider as anindividual because it’s a DNA is of human which just left for further grow in order to becomefull human personality. On the other hand, anti-abortion activists uses this fact for supporting thiscause by saying that; acorn is an oak tree at initial stage of growth just like that zygote is alsoconsider as initial phase of human growth (Vogel, 2012). 4
