Academic Integrity

INTRODUCTION
Academic Integrity is meant by moral codes or ethical policies of University which
allows students and teachers the independency to develop new ideas, creative knowledge and
works while giving credit to the original writers (Chala, 2021). In the first section of report, it
includes brief introduction of academic integrity and its significance in the university. It also
explains the implications of academic misconduct in the universities. Second section of report
includes the steps and difficulties which are found by an individual during the production of
game. Lastly, it is going to discuss several skills which an individual learned during academic
year.
Section 1
Academic Integrity
In academy, the academic integrity means the moral code and commitment of
demonstrating the honesty in an academic setting. Academic integrity is consisting six values
such as honesty, respect, fairness, trust, responsibility and courage. The grandfather of academic
integrity was Don McCabe. Other prominent scholars of academic integrity include Cath Ellis,
Tracey Bretag, Thomas Lancaster, Sarah Elaine Eaton, Tricia Bertram Gallant and Foltynek. It
serves the presentation of academic ethics through behavior such as plagiarism, avoidance of
contract cheating and cheating, while maintaining the academic values rigor and honesty in
research and publishing. It signifies to avoid cheating and pleasure is no other misconduct
behavior. It is applied by most of educational institutions and it is mentioned in honor codes,
mission statements, policies and procedures, but it is also educated in ethics classes (Omarova,
2019). In higher education, most of the universities have sections on their official websites
dedicated to academic integrity which explains the importance of academic integrity to their
particular institution. Here, honor code can support to enhance the honesty and trust to students
and praises to those who originally wrote it. It can also support the pupils and teachers produce
an honor pledge that it allows them to have severe penalties to those individuals who are nnot
performing with ethics and academic value in the academy. It is also developed before any
project is assigned and required to be read over and signed order to demonstrate that the pupil is
agreeing do not interrupt any rules. Hence, academic integrity for pupils in the university means
to make them practice the academic values of being honest in their academic work in the
