Introduction Academic integrity refers to those expectation under which the teachers, students and other stakeholders in the institution act with honesty, trust, fairness and respect. It is one of the most important aspect which helps in the development and success of the institution. Academic integrity can be developed only if all the stakeholders perform their functions in the organization with honesty. There are many factors which negatively impact on academic integrity such as plagiarism, cheating, raging and many more(Brothers, 2020). It is the duty of the management of institution that I analyses these factors from the organization and try to minimize them so that the integrity of the institution cannot be defamed. This report provides brief discussion related to the different aspect of the academic integrity. Section 1 An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity Academicintegrityisthebehaviorofdifferentstakeholdersoftheacademic institution towards their institute. It is very essential for these stakeholder that they knew their responsibilities and fulfill with accuracy and honesty. The management of the institution has responsible for the development of academic integrity, its their duty to motivate different stakeholder to act in the organization. Strict rules and regulations so that the students and teachers does not conduct any act which is against the integrity of the institution. There are many advantages are present if the management of the institution has promotes the concept in theorganization.Theresultsofthestudentsbecomeseffective,institutioncanget considerable growth and respect of organization becomes increases. The life of the students becomes changed because many misconducts are removed from their life such as plagiarism and cheating in the exams. Their academic and professional career starts shining if these habits are developed in their personality(Brunelle and Hott, 2020).The development of academicintegrityalsopositivelyimpactsonthelifeofteachers.Therearemany misconducts are present which can be done by the teachers such as paper leak and biased towards the students. If these habits are improved by the teachers then they have many more effective opportunities in their life which shine their career. A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher education Academic integrity refers to those concept which enables, teachers, students and management of the academic institution to act in the organization with respect, responsibility,
trust and fairness. All these related parties which are mentioned above are the important stakeholders of any academic institution which has great role in the development and growth of the institution. If these parties operates their functions properly then the growth and development of the institution becomes possible. The management of the institution also plays an important role in this because the responsibility of the management and development of integrity in the institution lies on this management. Academic integrity also plays an important role in the growth and development of many higher education institutes such as colleges and universities. It is seen in many colleges that the concept of plagiarism becomes commonand most of the students makes their projects by simply copy from the work of other. The biggest disadvantage of this habit is that the development of their knowledge and skills faces difficulties and also injustice for those those students which does their work without any plagiarism. Academic integrity has great importance in the higher education and the brief discussion related to the same are given below: Protect institution reputation The concept of academic integrity states that all the parties of the college and universities has act in the organization with respect and honesty. Many students and teachers are present in the higher education which misconducts in the institution such as plagiarism, paper leak and many more(Burke, 2021). All these misconducts has negatively impacts on the reputation of the college and their growth are not possible. The concept of academic integrity states strict rules and regulations in relation to this so that the related parties becomes fearful to misconduct in the organization and the reputation of the institutes becomes safe and protected. Value to their degree The professional career of the student are depend upon their academic degrees and skills which they developed in the college and Universities. Academic integrity developed many skills in the personality of student such as honesty in the work and also a responsible person which has performed all their function with disciplined. Most of the company hires those students for their organization which are having degree of those colleges whose integrity are more and attractive. These misconducts are very dangerous for skill development of the student and also the negative for the career of the teachers. The academic misconduct has many disadvantages and the brief discussion related to the same are given below: Creates many problems for the teachers There are many teachers and professors are present in the college and schools which has done many misconducts in the institution such as paper leak, biased towards the students and misuse their post in the organization. On of the greatest negative effect of this behavior are lies on the career of the students because the process of their skills development remains the incomplete. It also negatively impacts on the career and job of the teachers because if the teacher catches by the management of the institution then they will fire from their job and has to face many difficulties to find new job for them. Losses reputation Reputation of the college and university plays an important role in success and developmentof the college.If the teachersand studentsof the university has doing misconduct of plagiarism, false behavior andmany more so the reputation of the college were loose(Samko, 2019)(Onete, 2021). The respect of the students and teachers are also linked to these misconducts. If these misconducts has performed by the student or any teacher they also faces many difficulties in their life and also disrespect in the organization as well as out of the organization. Academic institution refers to those place which performed the function of providing knowledge and development of life style to the students. Under this place, all the students learned how to live a life with integrity and respect so that they considerable growth in their life and career. The concept of misconduct has enable the student to conduct different negative activity in their academic career(Vătăman, 2019). These misconduct will become their habit which is used by them in their professional career. They have to face strict criticism and failures in their life due to the habit of misconduct developed in their academic life. Section 2 Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game for Project 2 It is very important for the development and promotion of academic integrity in the colleges and school because the concept of plagiarism becomes common in many schools and colleges. The number of cases in plagiarism increases which negatively impacts on the academic integrity. An advanced game is developed by me which helps to improves the habit of plagiarism from the students. The name of the game is Plagomaster under which the teachers provides specific topic to the student to write an essay. These essay were checked electrically so that effective plagiarism report can be developed. The students which scores highest are to be given special rewards. There are many steps are taken by me to encountered this game and the brief discussion related to the same are given below: Development of strategy It is one one of the most important and initial stage of any project or task. The development of this game requires effective team having member of creative thinking. My team has these abilities, all the member start gathering information related to the topic and develop effective strategy in relation to this. Focus on project goals and objectives It is important for the success of this game that the main focus of the team members are lies on the goals and objectives of the game. The main objective of this game is to improve of the plagiarism habit of the students which ruined their career. Difficulties encountered during the project
Team management :-It is very importantfor the success of thisgame that management of team canbe effective. I choose democratic style of leadership to manage my team. Under this style all the member of the team has right to express their opinions and suggestions. Coordination :-It is essential for me to develop coordination between all the members of the team so that the useful information can be transferred effectively. I provide considerable independence to member so that they interact with each other. Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those emphasized in producing your game There are many skills I have learned while doing this project and these skills has helped me very much to develop this game. The brief discussion related to these skills are given below: Time management skills :-It is related to those skills which helps me to become punctual and also makes me to able to develop effective time table. These skills helped me to manage the time in different aspect of my life such as personal and academic. Creative thinking skills :-It is essential for us to develop effective team for the completion of this project and also the development of this game. The discussion between the team member enables different suggestions and creative ideas which makes my thinking more creative and analytical.
