Importance of Academic Integrity at University

follow in their educational institutions. Academic integrity enables the students to willingly
contributes in activities of institutions. It feels free and independent to express their ideas
suggestions on various topics and problems arises in institutions. It is required for students to
minimise their habit of using others ideas and emotions in their project work. Academic integrity
includes decision making and clear doubts. Academic integrity is important at university and brief
discussion related to these importance are given below:
Helps to minimise plagiarism :- Plagiarism is related to copy others work in self assignment or
projects. It is not regarded positive in universities and it impacts very negatively on student's image.
Academic integrity develops sense of morale and honesty in students work. Academic integrity can
be developed by making communication skills effective so that the doubts arises in student's mind
can be solved easily.
Effective environment in university :- academic integrity is very important for the effective
environment of university because it makes all the students of university to perform ethical activities
in university. Ethical activities is related to those activities which protects the students to perform
