INTRODUCTION
Professional skill is defined as a specialised expertise or knowledge which is needed to fulfil
action, task and processes in order to accomplish overall goal and objective. In a business
environment academic integrity plays important role which allow a person to be honest, fair,
truthful and have responsibility of own failure and success (Alharahsheh and Pius, 2021). This
report include discussion on concept of academic progress along with the reason academic
integrity is relevant to professionalism in a business environment.

business environment?”
Academic plagiarism occurs when a writer take use of more than four words from a
printed source without taking any use of quotation mark a reference to the original source. In
simple terms academic plagiarism is a state when an individual present someone else ideas or
work as their own without taking their consent and acknowledging them. There are different
types of plagiarism such as direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism and accidental plagiarism
(Alkharabsheh, 2021). It is essential for an individual to plagiarism in which they can effectively
employee and learn principles of good academic practice or acknowledge other work with the
help of precise reference and quotations.
Academic integrity is mainly defined as ethical policy on moral code of academia. It is
expectation that students, teacher researcher and all the member of academic community act with
respect, honesty, trust, responsibility and fairness. Breaching of academic writing is define as
academic dishonesty or misconduct. Academic integrity plays important role as it allow
individual to build new ideas, creative works and knowledge while respecting and
