It is quite essential to evaluate own strength and weaknesses on certain skills for the
purpose of making improvement in the areas which are quite weak and for developing an
efficient personal development plan (Kusumoto, 2018). Some of the strengths and

and open-ended questions, concerning and paraphrasing. Further, it is also essential
that notes should be organized using colour pens for highlighting the crucial work
(Goodman, 2018).
 Noted key points using reading strategies – It is essential to take the notes of
important information using summarizing and paraphrasing technique. Through this,
useful data can be remembered easily and can help in performing better. Further, it is
also crucial to evaluate the source and reading the main purpose of the topic. Suitable
platform for taking notes should be selected. reading strategy that is survey, question,
read, recall and review must be kept in mind.
 Paraphrased and summarised information – At the time of summarizing, it is very
essential to determine the keywords and the naming the words to other words for
creating a varied combination. It is also important to be selective on a particular ideas
and beneficial data and then creating own framework of taking notes (Do Hood and
Marsh, 2021). On contrary, paraphrasing involves plentiful utilization of direct
