It is made up of core skills such as academic writing, presentation skills which involve more complex skills such as reflective thinking. Personal development plan are consist of creating an action plan which is based on value, awareness and reflection for personal development within theircareerplanningandselfimprovementareconsidered.Inthisreport,personaland professional development short, medium and long term goal along with examples, value of personal development plan, discuss author, reliability, relevance and purpose and evaluation of sources. TASK 1 Concept of professional and personal development Professional development is helpful to improving their skills to meet their better needs for students. The main goal of professional development is to give their opportunity for learn something new and apply knowledge and skills that will helpful to get better job. Personal development is used to assess their skills, qualities and experiences that would be consider setting their life goals in order to maximize their potential skills ad capabilities. Short term goals with examples This goal define that students want to achieve their goals in a very short period of time and it may be around 1 week, 3 months or 1 year to be considered. It helps to boost their motivation level for long term goals through short term(Cooksey and McDonald, 2019). The value of short term goals which is reach a proper goal and help how far and how long which they have to travel their proper destination place. Medium term goals These types of goals are should be define that they have to build together this goal and it is to be accomplished to take months or 3 to 5 years are should be considered(Jackson, 2018). It helps to accomplish after short term and these goals are interconnected link between short term and long term goals. The value of medium term goals is they should provide needs for different person for achieving their goals and objectives in organizations. Examples of medium term: To start new business Betterment of work skills Properly graduate from college Long term goals along with examples Long term are needs to be considered that they have to predict for more than 5 year and it is fulfilling their requirements to take time and efforts for upcoming year of purpose. It is always come after short term and long term and it requires some time for planning and designing their purpose for more than 5 year.
