Personal and professional development concept
Personal and professional development concepts explained as the set of actions which aids an
individual and organisation to engage and improve the learning process for accomplish of
selected or desired goals. Within academic study of business management PPD plan is associate
with development need of an individual (Tattum and Tattum, 2017). Moreover, personal and
professional development plan is formulated for improving the leadership and time-management
skill as they help to perform task according to current skill requirements.
Short term goals and their value
Short term goals are accomplished within twelve months and they engage high value
because it aids an individual for formulation of a clear and transparent path to accomplish
success. Also, it helps to keep focusing on selected goals until they are achieved which keep an
individual motivated and productive. Some personal examples are mention as follow:
Increase in productivity- With decided and achieve short goal there is an enhancement
within productivity is identified. This enhances my performance to perform work through
improve in concentration power for performing work.
Maximise in personality- All task which relates with short term goals are valuable and
also it improves personality through completing and segmenting project easily (Smale
and Fowlie, 2015).
To explore new methods- By complete work according to goals work efficiency is
improved and this helps for identify of new methods for completion of task in shirt period
or to enhance their values.
Medium term goals and their example
Medium term goals perform an important role for accomplish of long term success as
they work as the base for completion of work according to long term strategy. This also impacts
on productiveness as it is increased efficiency to achieve goals and objectives. Some examples to
improve performance are explained as below:
