INTRODUCTION
Academic skills are the power or ability present in an individual which helps to attain more
success in their educational career. These skills are the strategies and approached which helps an
individual to enhance their learning power in the educational career. Study skills are the ability
which helps an individual to to successfully tackle the process of organizing and attaining of new
information, retaining of knowledge and dealing with the given assessments. Personal and
professional skill development refers to an improvement in the stack of skills of an individual that
helps a person in gaining their desire position at the place where they are working and by this they
can develop a good relationship with the people in society (Liu and Pullinger, , 2021). Furthermore,
the various factor that can enhance my working condition regarding the future professional career.
Motivation, Teamwork and time management are the topics which will be included in this report
(.Sera, and McPherson, 2019).
MAIN BODY
Motivation
Motivation refers to the procedure which helps a manager or leader to encourage their team
member in order to get the best working performance from them in their respective work area. If the
employees are completely motivated to the assigned task it will be very easy for the company or
team to achieve the set goals and aims in a short period of time. Motivation involves multiple factor
such as biological, emotional, social and many more elements which can activate the human
behaviour. It is a kind of driving force behind the human actions. A leader can use various kind of
motivation strategies such as maslow's hierarchy theory, Adams equity theory which can help them
to inspire and empower their employees to get success. Motivation is the most important skill which
should be present within an individual in order to successfully run the team. In context to me, when
is was the leader of my university group it is very crucial for me to motivates my fellow mates in
command to get the proper work from each of them. If I develop motivation skill then it will be
very beneficial for me in order to attain more success in the future. Some of the importance which I
have seen in my leadership regarding the motivation are mentioned below:-
Better communication equates to more success:- Clear and proper communication is one
of the most important key elements regarding the leadership that fosters motivation. If the leader of
the group clearly and transparently disclose all the pros and cons of their companies to their
employees then it will highly motivate them to give their best working performance. In context to
period when I was the leader of my group I have developed a strong communication channel
between the teammates which helps them to convey specific ideas and thoughts. I have clearly give

the complete details of the project, why we are forming this team and what will be the aim of this
team to all the member. In the professional work area in my upcoming future it will very easy for
me to manage my team (Flores, and Elmenofy, 2020).
Praise team member and build motivation:- A manager should always appraise and
should give the complete recognisation to their team member which can build more trust and
loyalty within the team. I have examine that if the team members receive proper praise regarding
their work from the manager it will highly motivate them. If the employees are positively praise
they feel good and everyone like to be recognized in an organisation for a job done well. If I will
valued and appreciate the workers in my future professional career then the team member feel more
motivated and enthusiastically tackle the next task in their hand.
Promote a healthy working lifestyle:- I have analysed that if the members of my team are
healthy and happy in the work environment then they will be more productive and feel better to do
the work. In my future working field I have to build a positive working environment for the
employees in order to run the management effectively and efficiently. In order to maintain healthy
working environment I can provide various facilities such as healthy snacks, build proper fun
activities which can reduce the stress and can assist me to keep my team motivated.
Ask questions often and work towards solution:- A successful and motivating leader are
always try to engages with the members who are present around them and always try to find out the
where those employees are stand with the job. From my experience through my leadership I have
examine that the current team members need to know that I am having a genuine interest regarding
my role in the team and I am building various opportunities in which they can express their
imaginative thoughts an idea which can help to enhance the team productivity. In context of my
future career, if I will appoint a leader of any team or an organisation it will be very easy for me to
run the operations if I ask the question regarding the organisation from my fellow colleagues
(.Schartel Dunn, Dawson and Block, 2021).
Hold people accountable and provide feedback:- It is a very important quality which
should be present in an leader which states that leader should correct the mistakes or improper
actions of their team members. I have also examined that if I neglect the poor work done by my best
friend can demotivate other team members which can decrease the overall productivity of the team.
From my past experience, I can take various positive point regarding the motivation which I can
implement in my future working career that can help me to execute the business operation smoothly
and fluently. I can give the feedback according to the misbehave conduct by the member of my
team in private then it will easy for both of us to discuss about the problem without the distraction
made by others members. Some of the motivational theories are as follows which can help me to
motivate myself as well as my team mates. Adams equity theory states that the leader present in an

organisation should properly give the output such as appraisals, incentives and promotion to their
employees regarding the input of work they have made within the organisation. Thus, it can highly
motivates the present workers of the company (.Zajacova, Hepper, and Grandison, 2019).
Teamwork
Teamwork is a collaborative efforts done by all the member present in the team to
accomplish the similar and common goals or to complete the assigned work in the most appropriate
and effective way. From my previous experience I have concluded that shared goal,
interdependence, boundedness and stability are 4 types of key factor which are present in the team
work. In case of my future career I have to gain the complete knowledge regarding the objectives of
team after this I have to chose the member regarding the specific work role. I can attain more
success in my future career if I appoint a proper members which are best suited for the job role in
the team. For setting up a team at-least 2 members are needed. It is also a very important factor
which but less important than motivation for the future achievement. I case of our school project,
the higher authorities of our institution has made a bunch of students to in order to complete a
particular assignment. In this I have appointed as a leader due to this I have the complete
responsibility to run the team effectively and efficiently. Students present in the team are willing to
showcase in what they are good at and contribute their talent and ability to the project. For attaing
the great success I have made the team in which talented members are come together in command
to get the success In the project. Furthermore, some importance which are related to the teamwork
which can help me to effectively and efficiently are discussed below:-
Converts introverts into extroverts:- A school or university is a educational institute
where multiple types of personality comes with the aim of gaining new knowledge. Every student
which comes in a specific institution are from different background. I have analysed that some of
the present students are may be extrovert whereas some of them are timid and shy. Firstly, I am also
a introvert person but after sometime the complete change can be seen in my personality as I start
interacting with other person so confidently and positively. In context to my future, I am slightly
weak in some specific subject or area with the help of other team member I can get appropriate
knowledge regarding my weak points. Effective and efficient team-work can help shy and reserved
students and individual to be more open minded and imaginative (Ye, and Edwards, 2018).
Teamwork can improve the listening skills:- In a group or team it is very necessary for
every member to listen the opinion and thoughts regarding the betterment of the project given by
the other members. For the future growth in my professional career I have to listen the ideas of the

team mates and my senior which can enhance my working productivity. Whereas, if I will not hear
the opinion of other people present in the team then in result the whole process of partnership or
team work will miserably break down and ultimately the team will fail. The listening skills helps
me in various way such as it boosts my patience level etc. which is very beneficial for my personal
growth.
Conflict resolution solutions:- It is one the most crucial skill which I have acquired from
the past experience of working as a leader of the school group. Working in a team helps me to
create a effective method or tricks which can help me to resolve the issues arises within the team.
Conflicts occurs when 2 or more team member have a different opinion regarding the same topic.
Due to this now I am capable to resolve the issues arises in the team which is very beneficial for me
when I will start working in the big organisations (Csizér, 2021.).
Working in a team allows an individual to show their skills:- A team is a group of
multiple individuals which come together with the aim of achieving the set goals and vision. In case
of my school project, various students are present in the group and work together to complete a
particular assignment. In this student can show their expertise in the specific field and can
contribute their skill to the project. It is very beneficial for my future as it helps me to work
effectively in the big organisation. Due to this, ability I can easily showcase my talent in the specific
work area.
Creative minds at work:- One of the major benefit which is have experienced while
working in a team is that it allows me to make the plan of action according to the requirements
because various members have different thought process regarding the similar situation. When team
works together to solve a particular problem I gain the knowledge of different mindset and ideas
related to all the team members. It will be very helpful for me in my future growth because it will
allow me to see the issues from the different angle and then put appropriate suggestion.
Time management / Organising study
Time management is a strategic plan which is made by an individual or an organisation in
order to divide the time between the different activities. An individual should develop proper time
management plan or schedule regarding the activity will help them to complete the work before the
given deadline. The past experience of working in a team is very advantageous for me as it help me
to build time management plan for every member in order to execute the work on time because I
was the leader of that team. The process of time management has made me very punctual in
command to complete the assigned work. Most of the successful entrepreneur always create their
time management plan which helps them to reduce the wastage of time and become more

productive in their respective work area. The proper and effective time plan will help me to use
various opportunities to achieve my life and career goals. In context to my future, if I will stay
punctual regarding my work then it will help me to build strong professional reputation within an
organisation. This process also allows me to reduce the amount of stress because if I will complete
my work on time than I will stay stress free. Some of the time management tools are as follow:-
Scheduling- An individual must know what they need to do and what will be the correct time of
doing that work. If an individual is successful in managing the time then it will be very easy for
them to get the higher level of success in their job role. Time scheduling will assist me to enhance
the current productivity level (Cheng, 2019)(Williams, 2020).
Goal setting:- The main factor which make an individual successful is that they should have clear
target and aims regarding the project in their mind. I can develop smart goal which will allow me to
use my time effectively and efficiently. Treasure mapping is a powerful tool which will allow me to
see my goals clearly. The importance of Time management is mentioned below:-
The steps to improve and develop successful time management at work are as follow:
 Plan
 Prioritize work
 Don't add multitask
 Use time tracking software
 Cut off distraction.
It increases my productivity:-If I am able to manage my time effectively, then it will
enhance my productivity level of work and performance. If I assigned a fixed time for all the task in
order to done the task in advance will allow me to do more tasks in less time. In case for my future
success, time management plan of action is very strategy which I have to develop.
It keeps my work more organised:- From the school time it helps me to develop and
follow a fixed day-to-day routine in command to execute my work. This is very beneficial for me as
it allows me to build a clear idea of the different task which has to be done on each day. It will help
me to have the clear routine for completing a work in the big organisation. The time management
will make my daily tasks organised and I can easily prioritize the most important work which has to
be done first by putting them into the time management schedule (.Minshull and Barnett, 2020).
No last minute cramming of work or syllabus:- On of the major problem which has to be
faced by most of the students is that they cant able to complete their educational syllabus on time.
Due to this this will lead them cramming up all the chapters just before the day of exam which in
result decrease their grade and score as per the expectations. It helps me to build a systematic plan
according to the work due to this I am capable to complete my work on time.
High work quality- In any kind of company only the high quality work is valued because it

will enlarge the companies productivity which will allow them to build the strong market position
in their market field. In future, as an employee I have the responsibility and duty to deliver my work
to a certain level of quality and standard. If I will properly manage my time then it will be very easy
for me to produce high quality work. It will reduce the distraction level and keep me focused on my
work (Stein, 2020).
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that, an individual should develop the proper
academic skills in their personality and behaviour. This are the skills which will assist an individual
to give their best performance in their educational career. Later on, the complete detail on
motivation such as its importance in work field and educational field is been included in this report.
Teamwork is also a very important factor that will enlarge the social skills of an individual. It very
beneficial for me in working with a team because it increase my confidence level in communicating
with the other people. At last, the need of proper time management in an individual life is been
summarized in this report.
