Introduction
The assignment actually deals with the chosen company in the case study which is the
Flick Pty ltd considered as the medium sized, privately owned Australian manufacturing
business. The main function of the company actually related to the significant supplier of pest
control products to large retailers receding all over Australia. Flick are located in a regional
area, one hour from Sydney, with their manufacturing, shipping, receiving and administration
operations all located in the same building. The company is actually looking to review and
analyze the expenditure cycle in order to enhance efficiency in some of the significant
business areas. As per the information’s which are obtained from the case study are further
depicted in the bellow discussion.
Discussion
The information’s of the business are rather obtained from the interview session held
with the CFO of the company named Olivia Johns (Duska, Duska & Kury, 2018). The main
purpose of this assignment is regarding optimizing the expenses of the business which is
quite a concern for the upper level management of the company. The three elements which is
considered in the case study are the purchasing, receiving and accounts payables of the
company (Kaplan & Atkinson, 2015).
It is significant to assist the CFO of the company in order regarding managing and
optimizing the expenditure incurred by the business. The significance of preparing the flow
chart is basically to provide a clear concept to the CFO of the company so that they can
manage the expenditure incurred regarding the purchase of the material of pest control. The
decisions are taken by the upper level management of the company and further the
significance regarding the activities which must be undertaken are basically taken into
