analyze the effect of an action. To a utilitarian, the choice which
has the greatest benefit is the people which is ethically correct.
Act utilitarianism is all about defining the choice of a person who can
benefit from it. It is irrespective of personal feeling and social
constraints like law. Rule utilitarianism comes into picture when it is
concerned with fairness.
This particular ethical theory focus on the fact that people
need to focus on obligation and duties so that they are
engaged in decision making. It merely highlights the fact that
person needs to follow obligation for individual or society.
Deontologist merely keep the promise of an individual so that they
can follow the law. The person adhere the deontological theory will
have a consistent decision that will based on individual set of
duties.
This particular ethical theory judges an individual by his or her
character instead of action which can deviate from normal
behavior. It merely takes up the moral, reputation and
motivation into account for an unusual behavior which is
unethical.
One of the biggest issues of ethical theory is that it does not
take into account the moral character of an individual. In a
