This document presents the results and interpretation of an action research study on the main issues faced by teachers in handling students with special needs. The study highlights the importance of teacher training and the need for a systematic approach to educate teachers in order to effectively include students with special needs in classroom activities. The findings also discuss the role of special assistant teachers and the challenges faced by teachers in managing the needs of both regular and special needs students. The relevance of the findings to the existing literature on teacher attitudes and the inclusion of students with special needs is also explored.
