INTRODUCTION Active reading is reading something related to the determination to understand and evaluate the relevance to needs. In addition, the simple task and re-reading towards the material aspect does not show an effective way to create understanding and learn. Actively and critically engaging with the content help to save time (Bouali, 2020). For instance, some of the ways that help to encourage active reading are highlighting, reading aloud, thinking aloud, making predictions, questioning, and many more. In addition, it usually helps to promote active reading among the children. In this report, the major of discussion is based on two question where one is useful to elaborate about the strategies that is used in order to promote the active reading. The other mentioned question is usually related with personal experience (Brackney and Lane, 2021). MAIN BODY The active reading strategies usually focus on the various aspects that help boost the reading among the children. The methods are implemented to refer to behaviour that is obliged for the new development towards active reading. Active reading is defined as the technique which is usually help in order to stay focused and used to retain more information. Therefore, the skill takes time and persistent efforts to develop and formulate the sense of active reading. In this, some reliable strategies are used to configure active reading. One of the strategies is related to the bad habit of glossing over vaguely familiar words (Hidayad, 2018). It is helpful for the student when they are reading a difficult passage or book for an assignment, take time to observe the challenging words. In addition, the idenitifcation of new comment help provide the aspect of active reading. Therefore, finding the main and thesis is another strategy that plays a vital role in active reading. In this, the thesis or main idea is comprehensive and play vital role in the finding. It is also appropriate for the development when the practice of result is used to develop in the text article each year in the context of reading any passage or theme. The formulation of the preliminary outline is also an aspect which regulate the active reading persistently. The complex topic or chapter are used to read that require time. So, the pages are scanned and subtitles and other information of the structure is being adopted for the reading section in comprehensive ways (Kidd, 2021). While reading any book or chapter, there is essential behaviour that students usually follow by reading with pencil to outline or highlight critical parts in books. In addition, it usually 1
promotes active reading and develops different behaviour among the people to mark and rectify the essential notes (Mork, 2019). Therefore, the use of pencil while reading is an instrument which help to provide the context that is related with active reading. The technique of drawing and mapping plays vital aspect within the active task. The visual learner is also creating mind map,Venn diagraminorderto generatetheunderstandingwhichhelptorepresentthe information. In addition, the shrinking outline is defined as the another helpful tool which help to reinforce the information which is based on reading towards the class notes. In order to making outline, the re write material which is based on the text regards the notes (Muhassin, Annisa and Hidayati, 2021). Moreover, the it is time consuming exercise in order to write the notes and play effective one. Whereas, it predominately analysed that the writing is the necessary part of active reading. The shrinking outline takes time, but they are proper for studying with the context of student. It helps to promote the behaviour that is important for the active reading and play role that is best suited for the student's knowledge building and skill development. At last, the strategies which may counter the suffix that implement the positive behaviour and promote active reading are reading books or chapters again and again. As per the scientific study, it is well evaluated that repetition is beneficial for the retention of information (Sholeh, Rosalina and Weganova, 2020). My reading habit is based on different techniques that depend on chapter and their associated difficulties. Usually, I was make reading with my daily practice and it provide me aspect to understand the other scenario. With this, it is helpful because they typically formulate the habit of reading. Moreover, I also have may reading space which is beneficial for the study and reading when I used to free to read without any disturbance (Traester, Kervina, and Brathwaite, 2021). With this all aspect, I always focus on reading a book or other thing with the use of a pencil to highlight the important notes that I want to remember. I also take an approach related to the reading habit to re-reading my favourite novel that interests me. In order to enhance the reading habit, the primary aspect is creating and formulating reading list, set a goal, schedule a time for the reading, find a good environment and place to read the book that generate positive approach and peace within the mind and try to eliminate the distraction which may render the active reading (Thohir, Wardana Nurtaat, and Putera, 2021). 2

CONCLUSION As per the above discussion, it is well analysed that the student is usually focused on the study for a longer time and they must place the strategies related to the active reading habit. In addition, active reading may help create the contribution to raising knowledge and developing reinforce for the study. Some of the essential aspects that are followed within the context to active reading are the use of pencil, highlighting, and many more aspects related to active reading. The student has their different tool and technique that they configure for the appropriate reading habit.
