Title: Communicating in person or face-to-face versus communicating
electronically by text, direct message, email, and so on.
Introduction:
Background: There is an opinion among all that Communicating in person or face-to-face is
better than electronic communication as it helps in adding the personal touch to the conversation
and there is no uncertainty in the transmission of messages across.
Thesis: Contrary to this, I believe that electronic communication mediums are being developed
technologically and can be used for conveying messages in time optimizing and error-free
manner across multiple sectors and therefore are better suited than face to face communication
mediums.
Example 1-Electronic communication finds a great application in business sectors
In the modern-day scenario, it has been seen that the business sectors are developing
rapidly. To stay in the context of the Global Economy, all the organizations have to work on a
cross border basis. In other words, they have to ensure that their organizations are having a wide
scale of employees from all around the world. It is for this reason that they are trying their level
best to work with the remote employees. To work with remote employees, they have to use
mediums like emails, texts, zoom duo meeting applications, and others. In contrary to this Liu
and Yang (2016), has argued that there is always a fear of disruptions in the internet
connections. Due to this connection issue face to face communication is always easier and also
convenient. Ion face to face communication meetings, all the information can be conveyed
directly and there is no fear about the meeting getting dropped or interrupted in the midst of the
situation.

These electronic mediums are highly useful as they help in getting the message across all
the recipients in a very fast and also time optimizing manner. Employees who are working for
home are also connected with their office and team via these mediums (Midor, 2019).
