Many cases of people with disabilities have been experienced in the many countries today and there are steps that are been undertaken to reduce the limitation of the disabled people and to support their freedom and contribution in the life of the public. This essay discusses the people with disabilities; how they have been affected in the society and some of the difficulties and challenges that they undergo. Thereare models of advocacy in social actions that have been brought up to discuss on this issue and the ways of reducing the challenges they face. Under the model of advocacy the first case study supports individuals with disability to overawe obstacles for instance the abuse and neglect of such individuals that affect the daily activities and the capability to take part the communal roles. The second case study will talk about disability promotion where lately disability sponsorship and NSW formed a DVD intended at individuals with disability to enlighten what disability supporters do and how they slog with customers. It has been predominantly intended as an instrument to support activists who control information conferences by giving out pictorial instances of advocacy activity. Primarily the case study emphases on how an exhibition is planned to show individuals with disability how to pursue support of an advocate to contract with biased conduct.

The research also explored the interactions and linkages between the different models of advocacy, how these feed into Systemic Advocacy at the State and national levels and how Systemic Advocacy influences public policy The research aimed to enable FaHCSIA to better understand the linkages between the different disability advocacy models how the models can be strengthened to work together to promote positive systemic change how the models can effectively assist and support each other to provide a more whole-off-life response to the issues that people with disability encounter.
