Companyensuresthat old age people are getting proper treatment so that their quality of life can be improved. Theyare committed and motivated workforcewithhigh morale. They also have improved governance mechanisms. On a contradictory note,that there are manyweaknessesof the companyandmany areas in which Age UK lacks. There were many times when Age UK failed to attain competitive advantage (Walker and Markowski, 2017). Although it is the charity company but to survive in the market, it is important to get competitive advantages. Company can use artificial intelligence fordealing with older people. AI like robots can be used to give proper care and safety to old age people. Campaigning is the method through which company can generate more funds through donations. As there are many companies which gives charity for socialservices as itis their corporate social responsibilities. This report will discuss the data of company. Further it will evaluate various models whichareswot and pestlewith respect to company. MAIN BODY Presentation of data D&B Business Directory (2021)said thatAGE UKis the London based company and is the charity company which work for older people. This is the fastest growing charity company and help society toenhancebetterment. Company believes that in order to raise the standard of society, it is essential tohelp them within various aspects. Strategic issue They have observed that older people are facing more problems because there are many children that does not live with their parents. So, AGE UK will help these people by providing them better life. Company works with,2221 employees andhave generated $169.24 million revenue. InAGE UK there are around 123, sub companies. Company has the mission to raise the 1
standard of living of older people.There are almost 50000 volunteers, around the globe. AGE UK. (2021) stated that this company have conducted many researches and have alsobuilt strategies to help old age group. In the year 2011, they have started campaignin regard to removal of default retirement age. The retirement age is set by the government at the age of 60 whileAGE UKbelievesthat it is not right because after 60, company retires their employees. So after 60 where they will go for work. So the age of retirement should be extended. In 2006, they have started campaign in the name of 'A sure start to later life'. This strategy work on development of social inclusion. Company basically work on older people health. There are various health problems which is faced by older people which are obesity, dementia, fraity etc. normally age discrimination is faced by old age peopleDay, Gould and Hazelby (2020). Many older people have claimed that they are not getting treatment as younger people are provided.AGE UK has become leading company in providing health solutions. In the year 2012, they have launched IFA. Presentation of models and theories challenges Company does not have proper resources so that they can attain their objectives easily. There is lack of physical and financial resources. It can be said that human resources of the company lack knowledge and skills. So company should have provided them training so that they carry their job role properly.To handle older peoplerequirepatient. When economy goesdown, it affectsthe donations which company isreceivingfrom outside. Competitors in the market are increasing. Thus reducing company's market share. According toHyndman and McKillop, (2018)along with internal factors there are external factors also which affect company's performance.Pestle analysisare used to identify external environment of the company. Political factors which involves trade restrictions, tariffs, tax policyetc., withthis factor, government can influence the firm. Government supports these companies because they are charity company and work for the society. political environment for the company is stable which helps in improving growth of the company. Economic factors are those factors which consists of exchange rates, unemployment rate, interest rate etc. if the inflation rate will rise than it will definitely affect company's operations.Wheninflationincreases,thenitcandecreasecustomerspurchasingpower. GDP of the country is also high that will flourish company's growth. Derecskei and Nagy, (2020)states that social factors involves lifestyle, belief, health, safety, attitudes, cultural norms etc. every organisation have to consider this factor if they want to achieve growth in the market. As the end users are the society, so it is important to fulfil their demand. Society is in the favour of this company because of the social causes which they are doing. Society always supports such company which put efforts in improving the standard of living of the people who are living in the community. Age UK, work on the social concerns and also create awareness in the society regarding health and safety of old age people. They are also associated with several groups and companies which are providing them constant support. Technologyfactors consistsof innovation and advanced technology. Changes in technology influence company's operationsSourbati and Behrendt (2021). Technology evolves, so it is important to adopt advanced technology if company wanted to achieve competitive advantages. Age UK is using technology to provide good quality of services to the people. They are using AI like robotics in order to provide quality of services to old age people. Company is using social media for promoting its various campaigns. Users of social media is increasing day by day. So for company it will provide advantage as it will target more audience easily. Company which operate against the laws are punishable in the eyes of law. As company deal with older people. So they have to follow data protection law. They are not allowed to share data of people with anyone without their permission. Data is the secret information and it must not be shared. There are many social groups which provides donations to the company. Workforce of the company is the biggest strength. They are having trained and skilled staff which are providing better services to the older people. Technology is the opportunity for the company. Implementation Company have started using artificial intelligence to improve the service quality which they are providing to old age people (Walker and et.al., 2020). They are using social media platforms to promote their campaigns. They have understood the power of social media and also how to target people using social media platforms. Political factors which include trade policies, government laws etc also have the power to impact company.Normally government support such charity companies because they knows that companies are working for the betterment of the society. Economy of the country in which this company is operating is also stable so that helps company in growing and achieving their objectives (Mayrhofer and et.al., 2020). The objective of the company is to help older people and for the good cause there are many individuals and groups which are helping company. then they also get societal support. Technology is evolving and through this company can take advantage. Although adopting advanced technology can be expensive but in long run it will definitely provide benefits to the company (Cheah, Amran and Yahya, 2019). Withthehelpofabovemodelswhichisswotandpestle,externalandinternal environment of the company has been discussed. Along with external environment, it is important for the company to also work on internal environment. As on external environment they rarely havecontrol, butthey can control internal environment of the company. Along with this, employeesof thecompany have many volunteers. For good causes there are many people putting a step forward towards help. Company have alsoraisedvoice against the default retirement age. They believe that the age 60 is early for the retirement (Purdam and Prattley, 2021). If an individual who have the capacity and willingness of working are forced to get retired. They have found that there are many old age people are not getting proper medical facility, so they work for them and helping them so that they can live happily in the society. Company says that old age people are also the part of the society, and still they have to face discrimination. The strength of the company is their ability to help old people. For this purpose they are getting support from various parties and companies. Company run their business operations as per the legal guidelines which is issued by the government. Their aim is to serve society and rise the standard of living of old age people. Technology is the opportunity for the company.
