Executive Summary
The aim of the report is to know about several applications of the artificial intelligence. This
artificial intelligence could be eventually accomplished by simply noting the entire procedure
of human beings learning, deciding as well as working for trying to resolve any type of
issues and then utilizing the results of the feasibility study to develop the intelligent systems
and software. There are some of the major goals of this artificial intelligence. Amongst them
the major goals of this technology is to create the expert systems and to implement or involve
the human intelligences within the machines. These expert systems eventually exhibit the
intelligent behaviours, demonstrations, explanations or advices for the respective users.
Moreover, artificial intelligence enables the systems with several features like understanding,
thinking, learning as well as behaving like human beings. The relevant as well as the accurate
knowledge form all the human experts could be eventually stored within this computer based
memory. Any type of organization is highly benefitted with the application of expert system.

Artificial intelligence is the advancement or development of computerized systems,
which have the ability of performing various tasks instead of requiring human intelligence
(Russell & Norvig, 2016, p. 3). The technology of artificial intelligence has overtaken human
intelligence in all fields and has increased the possibility for thinking, taking relevant
decisions and providing better results. There is a huge impact of artificial intelligence on the
entire technological world since it helps to create the expert systems, exhibiting intelligent
behaviour. The main feature of the artificial intelligence is it helps in preventing the various
hazards. They are programmed in such a manner that the problem could be easily detected at
the early stage. These could perform various tests over the systems regarding the various
risks and problems (Michalski, Carbonell & Mitchell, 2013, p. 2). The second feature of this
technology is that the machines were designed to provide the capability for learning from the
previous experiences. Since, AI are majorly exposed to the real life data, these data set are
quite bigger as well as better. Hence, accuracy is improved for the data and the ability of
decision making is improvised with time.
The following report provides a brief explanation of the impact of artificial
intelligence on one of the famous Australian logistics company, Logi World Pvt Ltd. The
various applications will be provided in the report as well. Logi World Pvt Ltd has decided to
expand their business with the involvement of the applications of artificial intelligence.
Amongst the five popular AI based applications, this report provides proposals of three such
applications that are suitable for them.

The largest Australian logistics organization is Logi World Pvt Ltd and it was
established around 20 years earlier. More than 200 staffs are eventually working in this

company has substantially given the core responsibility of investigating various applications
or technologies of artificial intelligence to the head of ICT for providing the significant
services within the industries of manufacturing, mining and warehousing.
2.2 Definition of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence or AI can be defined as the method of making the computer
controlled robots, computerized systems and the software that has the major capability of
thinking intelligently or in the same manner the intelligent human beings think (Nilsson,
2014, p. 3). The main thrust of the artificial intelligence is within the advancement or
development of various computerized functionalities, which are linked with several types of
human intelligence like learning, problem solving and reasoning. The programs of artificial
intelligence could easily absorb the newer modifications by subsequently putting high
independent pieces of relevant information and thus modification of information is quite

do not comprise of emotions. They never get tired, or feel anything or get bored. Hence, the
recursive tasks could be easily done by them in the replacement of human beings. Moreover,
the decisions of these machines are absolutely not affected by the emotions and are
completely dependent on the analysis of data. Several industries like health care, marketing,
logistics, finance are adopting these applications within their businesses for keeping the
steady pace with all the latest trends in AI and thus maximizing their competitive advantages.

some recommendations that should be considered by them before implementing the
applications. The three distinct recommendations for Logi World Pvt Ltd are listed below:
i) Implementing Machine Vision: Machine vision is considered as one of the best
applications of AI that mainly deals with all procedures in a business for gaining higher
understanding level from few digital images and videos. As Logi World Pvt Ltd is a logistics
company, they can easily acquire, process, analyze or extract data of high dimension within
real time and produce symbolic and numerical information for decision making.
ii) Implementing Expert Systems: These are the second popular applications of AI
that is responsible for providing the core ability to take accurate decisions in replacement of
