Introduction
On October 31, 2000, near around 23:17 hours, the Singapore Airlines Flight SQ006
which is a Boeing 747-400 aircraft that have taken off had met with an accident due to the
heavy rain as well as strong winds. This accident occurs due to the bad weather condition and
typhoon “Xangsane” (Aviation Accident 2020). There were 159 passengers along with the
crew members who were there in the plane. 23 passengers were not injured and 35 passengers
met with serious injuries and 22 passengers met with minor injuries in the process, as well as
79 passengers perished in it, which is critical for the organization to look after as their cabin
crew and other members are also get injured in the process (Vourvachis et al. 2016). This is
critical for the firm to understand so as to achieve success in the process and can become
successful in the marketplace. Therefore, the organization must look after the matter so as to
take steps to avoid such a problem in the future.
Recommendation and Conclusion
Recommendation
There are a few recommendations which the airline company need to follow so that
they can eliminate the risks that might take place in the future. It is essential for them so that
they can reduce the risk shortly and can provide high-quality services to the consumers. The
recommendation is:
The airline company need to test their aircraft correctly so that they can be sure
regarding the safety of the passengers who are boarding in for the flight. The firm
requires to look after safety so that they can expand in the marketplace and can
achieve success in the process (Chang and Hung 2013).
