INTRODUCTION
Tourism is the leading industry which promotes national heritage and special monuments
which is the pride of the country. This is the leading sector who contributes in national
economic growth. People adopt tourism services for travelling for making fun, enjoyment,
adventures tour, attending events, learning importance, for research etc. People take interest to
go from one place to another for looking some new things which is world popular. Tourism
industries are the most earning and profitable industry. Present report based on the Heritage and
Cultural Tourism. Furthermore, it will discuss about the growth and development of the heritage
and culture industry. Likewise, it will focus on the concern and conflicts which is facing by the
tourism sector for promoting the tourism sector industry. Tourism sector is important for the
country which meet the needs of the customers.

Venice is popular for its beautiful features, culture, experiences and emotions. There are
various historic places' foe which travellers get attracted and wants to come for visit (Gomes and
et.al., 2015.). Many of the travellers come in Venice to visit their historic places and

monuments. Besides, Venice has some major rates through which conflicts may arise, due to
increasing tourist activities in the city. This issue restrict tourism industry and sector. For that,
government is planning to develop the more places for the travellers. Besides, there local people
get irritate from the increasing crowd of travellers through which they are not satisfied with
tourism culture in the country. Due high population of travellers local people fails to visit the
historic places. 700% travleers visit in historic centres and rest of them visits hotels due to which
local people get disturbance and facing many issues. Moreover, this gives negative image of the
country and create problem for tourism sector (Ismagilova, Safiullin and Gafurov, 2015).
Another major conflict in Venice is transparency, that due to lack of control on conserving
heritage and cultural resources. For that, government take action and opening new
accommodation facilities for the travellers and make comfortable to local peoples.
When it looks upon the Barcelona in Spain, it is the most attracted and successful tourist
destination place in Spain (Heritage and Cultural Tourism Management. 2017). But due to some
major potential conflicts they fail to adopt full tourism attraction. In Barcelona the major
concerns and conflict through which tourism sector faces issue that is due to heavy crowded the
site is become more crowded and noisy. Another conflict is heavy costing with the development
of tourism activities. Moreover, theses conflicts restrict the scope of travellers and decrease the
role of tourism sector. As tour operation they provide some facilities to make travellers relaxed
and government is developing the facilities or infrastructure for them. Moreover, due heavy
crowded places and living costing for local people, tourism sector is affected. Besides, another
main concern of the places is mobility. It is the most concern in Barcelona. Apart from that, due
to increasing the population they facing the issues of noisy population. This may arise the issues
of heavy air pollution which is not good for the people of the country (Ismagilova, Safiullin and
Bagautdinova, 2014). This is the major conflict facing by the tourism industry. Local population
of Barcelona is not ready to accept the foreigners in the city. They against from the tourism
sector. This may create conflict and issue for the local peoples. But along with that, another
major conflict is security reasons. This is the another issue or conflict which affects the tourism
sector industry.
Potential conflicts arise while preserving of heritage and cultural Tourism
There are different factors and conflicts arise while preserving the heritage and natural
resources of the country which is necessary to be identified. Moreover, this is the very

important activity to enhance the growth factor of tourism sector. In accordance with the case of
Italy and Spain, during the preserving the resources companies are being faced many issues and
conflicts which provides services to the tourism companies. To completing the legal formalities
is the primary function in order to ensure the safe and secure environment. This helps to reduce
the conflicts of the country. Besides, Barcelona and Venice are the two popular places to visit in
Spain and Italy respectively (Mrđa, Howitt and Šćitaroci, 2017). These popular cities attract the
large number of travellers for enjoying their holidays and holiday. Likewise, there are some
conflicts which restrict the tourism role in the city. These conflicts may relted with political,
valuation of currencies, legal issue and decrements in trades. This factor may reduce the
business of tourism sector. These conflicts restrict the entry of foreigners or travellers and
affects the visitors' attraction as well (Heritage and Cultural Tourism, Bachelor. 2007-2016).
These given conflicts arise due to having lack of understanding, resources, lack of control of
government, lack of perfect managements. There are some important conflicts listed below:
Rush of Tourists: some beauty places were damaged and not provide direct appearance in
front of the travellers. They coming to visit the beauty but they find something else. This
damage building and spoiling natural resources, travellers less interested to visits those places
again. Besides, cleanliness is the another major factor which affected by these phenomena. Such
examples are Spots like Guell, Casa Milla etc. these are the some places which affected by the
rush of tourist (Raj and Griffin, eds., 2015).
Poor and ineffective planing: It is very important for the country to take care of their
monuments and historic things which helps to enhance the country pride. For that, travellers
want to come. Due to unplanned and effective actions monuments get poor such as Museums,
ancient monuments, waterfalls, mountains etc. these are the places which helps to create
beautiful view and helps to attract large number of tourism scope. Along with that, government
needs to take some strict action and develop safety precautions. Needs to safe the country
pride. This is the another conflict which decreasing the tourism in the country. Like Cascate del
Verde and Abruzzo and terme di Saturnia are the two waterfall which is now being polluted due
to improper planning (Timothy, ed., 2017).
Impact of technology and innovation: this is the factor which influence new opportunities for
the company to create new ideas to attract the number of travellers by offering beautiful places
interaction on their sites. This technological development needs high cost but at the same time

they give higher level of profit return to the company.
Possible reasons of conflicts: some conflicts may arise due to government policies and legal
problems. This factors directly influence the tourism sector. Like due to terrorist attacks in
Barcelona and Venice are the another reason of conflicts which fails to attract travellers
attraction. Another conflict in the country is ineffective transportation facilities, cleanliness at a
specific location. This impact negatively on the tourism sector in the country (Whelan, 2016).
What is your opinion on these: According to this overview. My opinion of Barcelona and
Venice is requires adopting some effective decision in order to maintain the attractive
environment to seek the preferences from the travellers. Besides, coiuntry needs to make sure of
positive environment. So that, more travellers attract towards the country places. For that,
government.

There are various sites and places which require to constructed in a region to enhance the
heritage and cultural locations and places. Government make decision and development plan in
order to make the new attractive buildings and plans in order to attract the tourism in the country.
Like Museums are the places where ancient things should kept in one place. In which they kept
ancient pots, paintings, articles and other items. Museums and academics plays a very important
role in order to attract the peoples to know about the history. Theses all factors influence the
tourism industries places (Youn and Uzzell, 2016). British Museum is one of the prominent place
for visitors because they give knowledge and different new facts which is belongs from ancient
times. This spread information about cultural, recreation, background information and gallerias.
Some travellers' comes at historic places for their researcher project and some comes for getting
history knowledge. Moreover, the main objective of the tourism sector is to get attract clients by
give them attraction and best offer plans. Learner get to know about the information about the
new places. Moreover, this tourism sector also helps to enhance the economic growth of the
country and their popularity level as well. The main purpose of the government top make new
development changes in order to get the more scope of tourism and make more revenue for the
country benefits. This revenue government uses in enhancing the monuments and enhance

infrastructure facilities in the country. This helps to increase the new more opportunities to other
businesses as well as it get affected to hospitality industry to earn revenue from the travellers.
Moreover, the main purpose of the organisation is to attract the clients by offering exciting and
attracting offers and packages (Ismagilova, Safiullin and Gafurov, 2015). This will create more
income and generate revenue growth. Tourism sector influence the British, museum and Royal
Academy of Arts. It will also reflect the importance of monuments and historical places. This
makes new environment and country loyalty in front of the travellers. Royal academy is the
another place which is more popular in London. In this art gallery people comes to visits and
searching for the knowledge. Generally, students and learners comes to this place to searcher
something (Whelan, 2016). To attract all types of customers government make free for two days
so that lower class people can come and visit the place. That is Friday or Saturday these two days
entry is free. This makes people happy and satisfied. They can easily enjoy their weekends to go
that place. As per the research urban people comes to visits Royal academy to gain information
because they have lack of knowledge about the traditional objects. This research would be
conducted by the department of entertainment and educational purposes so that recreational
activities would be taken on. Some of the activities are given below:
Research Work can be conducted: There are many travellers who comes and visits the places
for their research work. British museum has consisted some knowledge and information which
helps learners to adopt new leaning skills and ancient facts and make research in effective
manner. The main purpose of the research is to explore the world and give this information to the
all over the world. Moreover, his helps to generate more profit revenue and opportunity growth.
If any ancient information trying to explore the present knowledge with the help of this
discovery. Research process is the effective measure of heritage and cultural attractions
(Ashworth and Larkham, 2013).
Entertainment to many people many travellers and population loves to travel from place to
explore the places and finds something new discovery. For that they adopt tour packages. Along
with that another people loves to go places for enjoyment, to get adventures tours etc. in British
museum they consist and belongs from different civilisations. Moreover, the main fact is that,
they need to explore their activities in order to get the more attraction of the citizens. Families
and friends group attracts towards the British museum.

Museum visited by media: With the help of effective communication level. People get to know
about the places and their related information. This helps to build the trust and loyalty between
the visitors regarding particular places so that they easily book the tour plans (Raj and Griffin,
eds., 2015).

3.1 Evaluate the impact of different types of ownership on the management of heritage and
cultural sites.
Ownership defines as the posse ion of over the property or any kind of rights.
Management is the complex process in order to make cultural and heritage places. When
management of the cultural and heritage site company make sure it is same as the previous one
in order to maintain the uniformity (Mrđa, Howitt and Šćitaroci, 2017). The structure must be
targeted through which visitors get attract from the sites. There are two kinds of structure will be
made by the social sites which is known as PPP and PO. That is public private partnership and
public partnership. The main purpose for obtaining this structure is to sustain the effective
maintenance and proper protection so that, monuments and heritage industries is preserved and
safe. Moreover, the main target of this structure is to maintain the proper uniformity and make
security in order to attract the travellers' attraction towards the organisation services. The work is
divided into in various sectors in PPP. There two major ownership and suitable heritage sites are
given below:
 Woodland Trust (PPP)
 English Heritage (PO)
 Nature England (PO)
The main reason of different ownership is to ensure the proper working of
management will be conducted. So that, responsibilities will be distributed in effective manner.
Public Private Partnership: this is the social sites which obtain training sessions in which they
guide that how heritage places and buildings site will be preserved in better manner. For many
stakeholders are being provided this knowledge to protect the heritage environment. PPP plays a
very important role in order to protect the heritage importance and make awareness about the
preservation methods (Whelan, 2016). If people or organisation fails to adopt this
responsibilities things are going to be bad and worst and organisation also fails to attract the
travellers towards the heritage buildings.

Public Ownership: these are the government regulatory body who spread the awareness about
the preservation of heritage. Besides, some public organisation focus on the job creation,
increasing foreign investments.

 It helps to analyse the tourism fact and information which helps to enhance the
importance (Mrđa, Howitt and Šćitaroci, 2017).

With the helps of media tools it gets published the related information of the heritage
places. It enhances the scope of media interaction. With the help of this public take interest in the
places. Non personal media such as audio visual, drama, role play etc. with the help these
technologies proper information start passing from place to place. These methods is effective
when the tool of communication is perfect. If there is language barrier information cannot pass
from the person to person. There must be a understand level between the persons or receivers.
Tourism are being generated in British museum and royal academy. They both focus on
the preserving the heritage and cultural values. When the proper management is run according to
the structure. So that, things going perfectly and good (Franch and Irimiàs, 2015).
Personal Media: in this personal media where visitors hired one guide who tells about the
places and let them aware about the places. Guide is the individual person who interact the
people with the heritage places.
Non Personal Media: in this process information is passed to the visitor from the medium. Such
as notice board, audio present at many heritage places which provides all related information to
the visitors (Balmer, 2013).
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion. It can be concluded that cultural heritage plays very crucial
role in the world which provides information of early times. This present report discussed all
important aspect of tourism sector and which issues and conflicts influence the tourism sector. It
summarized that. To preserve heritage places and monuments are very important. This report
explained about the development of heritage buildings through which tourism sector attracts
more new customers.
