1. Project Background
 Project Background: Fencing Limited wants to move from traditional sales to online
business model and for this they want that their customer should have the facility to
purchase from their website which now only provides information about the products
and along with contact details of the company. Although according to most of the
people in the organization, the existing system is effective and efficient for
implementing their needs, but if the speed as well as security of the network is
enhanced, it will help the employees in exceeding their sales goal. When consumers
are booking orders in the website, faster network speed means that employees will be
capable of processing more number of orders and increase sale. Along with that, in
order to increase sale it is important to identify need of the customers and advertise
those specific products to the consumers. However, to ensure that employees need to
collect and analyze data of different categories like order details, number of orders
provided for a specific products, preferred price range of the consumers. Therefore, a
faster and secure network will ensure that accessing these data from the database is
easier and secure too, which provide a comprehensive idea regarding a consumer and
enhance sales effectively and efficiently.
 Project scope
 To provide strategy for increasing network speed and enhance its security
 To provide strategy regarding network access control and authentication
 To provide a business continuity plan
 To identify project risks and provide risk management strategy
 Project goal: To provide a faster and secure network for increasing sales and to
empower employees to exceed their sales goals as well. Along with this, the goal is to

provide context for Flex limited to design an online business model while ensuring
that the consumer information along with organizational is secured effectively
through network security strategies including access control and authentication and
through an effective business continuity plan. To ensure return on investment for Flex
Limited is an important consideration for this project.
 Strategic alignment of project: The strategy of the organization is to increase sales
performance through online sale model and therefore the project considers
enhancement of data security and improve network speed as well. Therefore the
project prioritize of designing an efficient network that is faster and secure required
for online sales and marketing. This will ensure that strategies for the project is in
accordance with the business strategy of the organization providing context for
strategic alignment of the project
2. Network Security
The organization allows their employees to bring their own device in the work place
through the BYOD policy and they are also allowed to connect their devices to the
organizational network. Therefore, while designing the strategy for network security, it is
important to consider this aspects into network security policy.
Threats related to BYOD:
While designing security strategies for BYOD, it is important to identify the security
issues related to BYOD. Some of the significant network security issues due to BYOD
