1.1 Business summary: Please write business outline. (who, what, where and how)
The business is started by a group of three people in the form of partnership business. The business of
partnership is a form of business operated by two or more people who share profits and management. It means
that all the partners they share profit and loss in equal proportion. The name of three partners who have started
the business are GS, LA and AA. LA is the general manager, GS is the sales and marketing officer and AA is
the accounts officer. The name of the business set up by three partners is known as Eco Cleaning. The business
offers the services of chemical free cleaning to domestic and commercial customers. The business offers high
quality cleaning service. The business is based in Tottenham and partners would like to expand the business at
other locations. The unique selling point of the business is that the partnership business is mobile and flexible
because it remains open 24 hours.
1.2 Describe your core product or service:
Eco Cleaning business offers a wide range of services such as chemical free cleaning to target segment of
clients in London. All the three partners provides chemical free cleaning in schools, nurseries, individual homes
and end of tenancy agreements. Chemical free cleaning helps to ensure that no one will have respiratory
problems, occasional headache and no person will be seriously injured. Eco friendly products used by partners
for providing chemical free cleaning helps to keep students and other people safe and healthy.
1.3 Your current and future business aims:
The present aim of the business is to provide eco friendly cleaning services to target segment of customers that
helps to satisfy the need and demands of the customers by providing high quality cleaning services. The
partners are providing the services from one year and the whole idea of the project is to reflect that, business
has potential of growth. Currently, there are 10 employees and all are working on zero hour contracts. All three
partners have one van and all three persons have own cars.
The future aim of the business is to expand the business in London rich areas like Westminster, Chelsea etc.
They will require £80,000 for expanding the business and also want to invest funds in advertising and
purchasing new equipments.
1.4 Your expansion plan:
Eco cleaning wants to expand its cleaning business at other locations as well. The expansion plan of the

business wants to expand its portfolio by raising £80,000 funds for the purpose of marketing and advertising the
cleaning services and also for purchasing new equipments. So that, business can provide better quality cleaning

Transferable skills – One of the major skill possess by all the partners working in partnership business is
communication skills. It helps them communicate effectively with different stakeholders like customers,
government, suppliers etc. Further, they also possess team working skills. All the partners work in collaboration
with each other. Further, all the partners possess analytical skills that helps them to solve complex problems.
Moreover, they are having ability to use new equipments that are made with high technology.
Professional skills -
Professional skills possess by partners is skill of leadership. The leader helps to lead all the employees that are
working in the business.
All the employees are honest and does not take anything that does not belong to them. Further, they also
possess the skill of consistency that means, they are consistent in performing their work. This helps to improve
reputation of the business. All the team members are having ability to work as an individual as well as in team,

Company focuses on making efforts to reach to the target market. The target market helps to achieve aim and
objectives of the company. Eco cleaning targets the market of Kensington, Surrey, Chelsea etc. for providing
cleaning services to the clients. All the partners focuses on providing cleaning services at different locations.
The target segment involves individual homes in which people live, end tenancy agreements, it also provides
cleaning facilities to schools and colleges that helps to maintain cleanliness and safety for all the students. It
also targets nurseries etc. By offering services to target market, company will be able to gain competitive
advantage over other competitors. Target market will help partners to improve their business and profitability.
Moreover, targeting a specific segment will help partners to improve brand identity among clients.

services offered by them is very excellent. Further, all the employee’s makes efforts to resolve various queries
of the customers in respect of cleaning services. One of the major thing that helps to gain competitive
advantage is that employee’s of the business are very skilled and talented. Partners conduct training
programmes for all the employee’s once a week. The USP of the business is that, the business is mobile and
