INTRODUCTION
This report is considering the 'Tobacco control plan for England' policy as it is related to
the healthcare promotion and social, political agenda. There government and health care
organisation (NHS) work together for the healthcare promotion, by the making the awareness
about worst effects tobacco products on heath and how to prevent it. In this study report it is
involving the analysis of impact of this policy on public health and healthcare promotion, along
with the study of other social and political policies which effect this in different ways. There the
importance of political ideologies and policy on health inclusion and exclusion is going to be
evaluate. Then the identification sources related to the policy and how it helps in the delivery
health care promotion and safety. Roles of social and health care workforce is also going to be
consider in the assessment (Leatherdale 2019).
BACKGROUND
This policy is developed with the associated efforts and concern of PHE centre director, NHC
trust CES, NHS foundation, medical directors, Director of Adults SSS, Director of Finance,
GPS, communication leads, directors of children's SSS. UK government has made this policy in
order to reduce the premature death in England due to smoking, which is the leading causes of
death in humans. Their is the Vinson of Mr Steve Brine ( member of parliament) to create the
smoke free generation, where every one have to work on the prevention of smoking by helping
the local authority's to control this, by the reduction of their challenges. The national ambition is
to reduce the smoking prevalence below the 5% (Sheron 2016).
In the England and Wales public health is manage and promoted by the local and health
care authority's, who works according to their power for emergency which is given to them by
Public Health act 1984. issues related to this policy is the tobacco industry and their advertising
for tobacco product promotion which highly impact the tobacco control plan, as there is the some
law and rules for the tobacco product advertisement, only one the basis of those rules they can
advertise their product and they can not promote it on commercial level on TV and radio. But
they have protested for this and made various difficulty one implementation of this tobacco
control act. It has been analysed that there is almost 200 deaths which is cause by smoking in
every day, there is the risk of miscarriage due to the smoking in pregnancy. Some type smoking
causes the birth with neonatal complications (Wolfenden 2017). Although smoking rate is reduce
