Impact of Prejudice and discrimination on children, their education,
learning and development
There are many people in the world who judge people without knowing them properly,
not even adults but this thing is also impacting children mind. This can impact on their
mind and children cannot concentrate on their studies and education. Every person’s first
learning stage is their childhood, when they go to school other children judge them on
the bases of the color and some teachers as well. This can impact so much on their
education and they cannot concentrate on the education. Children can't share this thing in
front of their parents, this thing started affecting on the education of the children so it is
important for parents to ask how was your day and try to make better connection with
them this is possible with they are taking with them every day and sharing their
thoughts. Sometimes, when children do not perform well in their result their parents and
teachers start behaving rude with them without asking them about their problems and
Berrios children are facing. In child’s first learning stag they learn what their parents are
showing and behaving with them. Gender Discrimination not that much exist in the
school but most of the African boys and American boys are compare on the basis of their
color. According to the reports has found that this can impact on the education learning
and development of any children, Children's can feel depression during those situation
such as teacher’s attitudes toward the lower cast they treat them rudely and abuse them
badly which will not let them, show their talent and they cannot develop properly.
Discrimination is the harmful treatment by any person on the basis of cast disability of
any child small children can also experience a prejudice and discrimination as same as
adult face in their life most of the children do not play with other children’s who seems
different it can be because the other person is a girl or boy. There are many ways of the
discrimination which can be experiences by the children. Direct discrimination is one
of them and this also include size and reign for example suppose some people children
are plying in a school ground and one new student who wants to play with them but
height of that child is short, because of that they do not let that child plat with them. This
is called direct discrimination. That child can be demotivated and development of that
child can be affected, in this situation parents of those children’s are responsible to
teach them to play together and they should show them why it is important to be
together. In all around the world there are many children who are disable to walk, see
and here. Because of that they can have problem in learning and development.
According to the reports people make fun of those children who are physically
disable, Children can demote because of their disabilities and if they go to the school’s
students make fun of them because they can't do thing which other school students can
do like playing, dancing listening and many more. This can make them demotivated and
they will deny to go to the school. For this situation government should make schools for
students who are physically disable to do any work. Parents should send their children to
those school because they can keep them motivation. All the students will be same and
they will understand each other. Children can learn more and teachers will understand
and give them a motivation. those children who are physically disable can learn from
those schools and get more experience from their teachers; teachers can make them
teach because they also have faced this thing and they can understand better those
children’s situation more than any other teachers. Prejudice can create impotent and
social tension among the children and this can lead them to fear, avoidance, anxiety.
Prejudice and discrimination can undermine the self- ester, and self-confidence of those
being ridiculed and make them feel treble in the schoolchildren life when this all things
happened then performance of the students in the school often suffer and children will
become depressed and socially withdrawn. They will always be in depression and they
will not be happy in their life. Well-being is more than the illness in the children. This
can include health and shifty of the children this can be subject to sense of well-being.
Well-being can be a complex issue when it is difficult to define both education and
searches has recognized the significance of the children well-being and the
interdependent relation between learning and well-being. There are many elements
which can affect children to be a good person in their life. If any person misbehaves
with the children then it directly effects on their life because between 5 to 10 children
learn things from the adults and what they are seeing in their life. IT is important for
parents to send them to the school because this is the place where they can learn how to
respect with the elders and they also learn become a well-being. Parents should not
misbehave in front of the children and they do not should on them. Because this thing
