The decision was based on the low market response of the customers of that geographical region for the passenger cars that pushed down the profitability of the organization at a very low level. The Land Roversegment of the carts were facing high criticism from the customers as the car need lot of fuel to run and the rise in the gasprices during the last few years were making the consumption and use of cars a costly affairs for the owners of the model sold by Ford. In such a situation the organization was facing a very low demand for the model and lot of exiting customers who are mowing the car was looking for an exchange of that model with other models offered by Ford.
