The existing project initiates to determine the the impact of risk management and safe
work instruction regarding machinery and equipment over the production procedure of an
organisation, therefore it is a wide area of academic writing which is imperative in providing
detailed analysis over the area health and safety in the context of business. However, health and
safety are termed to be the primary aspect to be considered by the business for the intention of
assuring their employees regarding maintaining safety measures (Aminbakhsh, Gunduz and
Sonmez, 2013). Risk management is defined to the practices of analysing the significant risk in
advance, determining them and taking precautionary steps to reduce the risk and hazardous.
Therefore, for managing risk it is important for the businesses to provide safety instructions to
their employees while working on the machinery and equipments, thus, the safety instructions
are necessary to implement effective business operations. In the present evaluation the study has
been executed over General Electronics, thus, it is well known an American multinational
conglomerate company which is incorporated in New York city. Therefore, the headquarter of
the firm is in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The company is operated from assorted
segments which involves aviation, healthcare, power, renewable energy, additive manufacturing,
finance, lighting, digital industry, venture capital and so on. The company was founded by the
collaborative efforts of Charles A. Coffin, Elihu Thomas, Edwin J. Houston, J. P. Morgan and
Thomas Edison. In the year of 1892. the overall revenue of the firm is around 95.214 billion
which represents the higher development of the business, thus the company is having around
205000 employees who are putting their significant efforts in the growth and progression of the
business (Giannakis and Papadopoulos, 2016). GE has its operations in assorted segments and
for this it is required for the business to provide safety measures and instructions to the
employees while operation over machines and equipments. However, the primary concern of the
business is to enhancing the profitability via ensuring appropriate safety and security to the

employees and managing risk for effective development of business operations. Risk and issues
and unwanted in nature and it is required for the business to manage them through providing
appropriate safety instruction to their employees. Thus this create value for the business in
attaining higher growth and success.
Importance of the Topic
The investigation into real access is based on examine the impact of risk management and
safe work instruction regarding machinery and equipment over the production procedure of an
organisation. Therefore, the potential significance of the study is to provide detailed evaluation
over the area of risk management and how it is significant for the businesses in providing health
and safety to the employees (Aloini, Dulmin and Mininno, 2012). This study is effective for an
individual, business or the organisations who are dealing in manufacturing and operating through
machinery and equipments, thus the study stated the suitable measures and instructions required
for the businesses to operate in effective manner and generate higher profitability and revenue. In
addition to this, the study is also effective in providing suitable issues which are mainly
performed by the businesses while operating through machinery and needs to be resolved to
implement higher production which in turns in creating value in generating higher profitability
and revenue.

the procedure of identifying, analysing and managing threats to a business's capital and earnings.
The risk or threats could be stem through assorted aspects like financial uncertainty, natural
disaster, accidents, strategic management error, lack of knowledge and authenticity of operations
and so on (Khan, Rathnayaka and Ahmed, 2015). thus, among all of them health and safety is
termed to be the major considered aspect which needs to be management by the businesses for
the intention of ensuring the safety of their employees. According to the views stated by Lena
Eisenstein, 2019, Risk management is also refers as the procedure which needs strong leadership
around all stakeholders. The best risk management programs are proactive rather than reactive.
Risks can endanger a businesses progress toward achieving critical objectives.
