INTRODUCTION
Professional identity is consider as a person's self perception and how that person
perceive themselves in specific profession. Professional identity generally facilitates collection
as well as evaluation of skills, abilities and knowledge related with the professional work and
values as well as position of profession (Ennis, 2020). Reflective activities are mainly
determined as a person's life in that they evaluate and monitor themselves and action conducted
by them. By this an individual get understand their strengths and weaknesses according to which
they can develop strategies and plan based on reflection. The respective project is based on the
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), it is a professional association or firm
for the profession belonging related to human resource management. This firm is introduced and
incorporated in 1913 as well as its head office is located at London, England, United Kingdom
(Han, Blank and Berson, 2020). The respective project is bifurcated into three parts, in which
first one include information related to research aim, objectives and literature review. In second
section will describe about reflection on research methods as well as data review and in third
section include information related to reflective practitioner storyboard.

strong then its productivity and commitment rate is high toward the company which increase
company profitability. Furthermore it is considered that if an individual not have any attachment

help in developing enquiries which are mainly based on the knowledge as well as often practical
respect. The main reason of developing a action research is to enhance learning in respect of
personal as well as professional development. In addition to this Auto-ethnographic practices are
generally related to the qualitative research which are used by a person for conducting self
reflection based on personal experiences. This will mainly assist the researcher for conducting
self reflection on the several topic such as psychology, communication studies, performance
studies and so on. For doing this research, investigator is adopting respective approach because it
help in getting proper outcome.
Gibbs cycle
Gibbs Cycle is introduced by Graham Gibbs. The respective frameworks help a person in

Reflection is consider crucial element as this assist in determining own thoughts,
emotions and behaviour of the person in particular situation or experience (Khanshan, Yousefi
and Kashef, 2020). It is essential for a person to conduct self reflection practices as this will help
in identifying different aspects through better working strategies for future can be developed. I
have analysed and determined that I needs to reflect over my experience so that I am able to
evaluate my strengths and weakness during the situation. Through this I will be able to identify
and analyse area or skills which are lacking in me along with this my capabilities that will lead to
enhance my performance in future. Reflection about particular situation or experience assist me
to determine all those issues that is I have faced and my achievements. I am able to determine the
solutions that to the problems that is have faced during the situation. Through the process of
reflection I am able to evaluate and analyse my learning form the situation. After completion of
the university degree I have been working in a middle size retail company as an intern. This
internship was learning experiences for me as I was able to identify different aspects and
elements about the functioning and performance of business. In this job role I was working in
Human resource team and assisting human resource manager. This organisation is conducting
business operations from last 3 years and it is offering clothing and cosmetic products in UK
market area. Through this I have gained information about the different aspects and elements
human resources. I want to work in leading retail company of UK market in the field of human
resource. This is learning experience is very effective and useful in order to successfully and
correctly performing business practices as well as attaining personal and professional goals.
In past I am working as a customer support team member in a small retail outlet of
United Kingdom. The main reason of why I selected small or medium size organization is that it
help me in exploring business as well as it also provide me opportunities to learn new things
which help me in developing a successful career. But while working there I am not able to get
huge as well as depth knowledge and understanding about the retail sector. While I am working
as the member of customer support team I analyse that it is essential for a company to provide
proper support to their employees as that will help them in performing their work in effective
manner. In addition to this it will also help a company in enhancing their sales as well as

that relationship as well as network at the workplace plays an essential role as that help in
conducting work in effective and proper manner. Moreover, by developing an effective
relationship with seniors as well as employees I am able to conduct my allotted task in effective
way. It is so because through this I get more support as well as guidelines from seniors which
help me in conducting my work in best manner. Along with this, I also understand that healthy as
well as positive working culture as well as supports leads to accomplishment of work in effective
manner. In organisation where I am working my team members are supportive as well as
understanding and they also provide me guidelines which help me in conducting my work in
timely manner. By this experience I determined that my communication ability is one of my
strength which help me in conducting my allotted work in effective manner and it also help me
in providing effective customer support. Their is a situation in which I meet one of main
customers of business and at that time my senior manager provided me feedback that I have
strong and effective communication skill that I effectively influence crucial customer as well as
increase sales effectively.

potential for conducting task in best manner as well as it also help me in resolving issues of
others in proper way. I also evaluate that it is necessary to meet the need and expectation of

manner. In organisation where I am working my team members are supportive as well as
understanding and they also provide me guidelines which help me in conducting my work in
timely manner. By this experience I determined that my communication ability is one of my
strength which help me in conducting my allotted work in effective manner and it also help me
in providing effective customer support. Their is a situation in which I meet one of main
customers of business and at that time my senior manager provided me feedback that I have
strong and effective communication skill that I effectively influence crucial customer as well as
increase sales effectively.
Along with this, I determined that my communication skill effectively enhance my
potential for conducting task in best manner as well as it also help me in resolving issues of
others in proper way. I also evaluate that it is necessary to meet the need and expectation of
customers as that help in satisfying them effectively. So while providing support services to
customers I mainly focuses on determining need, requirement as well as expectation of
customers because it help me in determining their issues accordingly I can resolve it
successfully. Along with this, I also analyse that there are numbers of skill and abilities which
are required in a person in order to conduct their work in effective manner at workplace. While

conducting my work or task I determined that my key skills are communication skill,
interpretation skill, problem solving skill, research skill, presentation skill, understanding skill
and many more. It is also essential for me to use my skills as well as abilities in proper manner
so that I can attain my desire goal and objectives successfully.
I determined that my personality as well as professional capabilities may get enhanced by
conducting optimum utilization of skills and abilities. Moreover while conducting my allotted
work at the company I determined that I have some major weaknesses and I need to resolve it
because that directly or indirectly impacting on my performance. It is so because that is consider
as negative aspect in my performance. My weak skills include time manageable skill as I am not
able to accomplish my work on time in effective manner. In respect of this my team mates are
helping me in overcoming from this weakness so that I can enhance my capabilities as well as
conduct my work in best manner. While this I also determined that for me it is very important to
enhance time manageable skill because through that I can accomplish my work on time as well
as in proper way. This will provide me opportunities for growth in future as well as this skill is
beneficial in both personal and professional life.
Furthermore while working as a part time employees I experience an incident according
to which I get into conflict situation at the workplace due to completing work. It is mainly take
place because one employee is not contributing to the work in effective manner which directly
hamper the work of team goal and objectives. Due to time team is not able to focus on their work
as well as this situation leads to negativity at the workplace. It is occur because employees are
not able to focus on their work as well as it also impact on the behaviour of employees. So in
order to resolve respective issues manager conduct communication and develop several steps to
resolve issues. In respect of this manager take strict action against those employees who not
perform their work in best manner as well as they evaluate the work of every staffs in team in
order to ensure that every staff are contributing equality or not. Through this situation I analyse
that in order to become an effective leader I need to have several skill such as communication,
decision making, understanding, problem solving and so on. It is so because that help in
resolving issue and completing task in effective manner.
